Chapter 4 - Goddess

The sky itself had turned pitch black, leaving the people blind for about ten seconds as they scrambled trying to find a source of light. There were no highly advanced street lights anymore, only torches and fireplaces.

As soon as the sky got back to normal, a large angelic figure appeared out of nowhere. She was large enough that she towered over the city where Eisen resided in as her blue eyes looked at them.

"Greetings, mortals. I am Karinthia. The Goddess of the Zodiac realm. As you now, we have been in a struggle against my brother, Kael, the wretched Sorcerer. Move onward my loyal fighters! We will be victorious in our fight against evil! He has stolen the Staff of Reality, his dark arts now transcend through worlds, I am sure the differences between your lives yesterday and right now are obvious to you as well. To revert his ill spells and turn this world back into what it once was before, we have no other choice but to kill Kael. Good luck to you all." She waved good bye and vanished as quickly as she showed up.

The screams of the people were apparent and obvious, they were now panicking after realizing that their lives had been sent back a couple thousands of years back to the past, but only with the added flair of magic and sorcery.

Blizz looked at Eisen as Eisen looked at his other Gemini counterpart right back. "You know what this means, right?" Blizz asked him. "Are you telling me we should do what the Goddess Karinthia says?" Eisen had a confused expression etched in his face as soon as he heard what Blizz said. To which the latter replied with a nod.

Eisen looked at the players and the people as well as the NPCs who were now running around panicking about what they were supposed to do to defeat Kael.

"This has been the whole game's premise for quite sometime now, right? To defeat her brother, the Wretched Worm Sorcerer, Kael?" Eisen asked Blizz as he faced his direction.

"I-I mean yeah, that is it, I guess. You have been playing for like five years probably, you already know all of that." Blizz replied. "What makes you think that beating Kael would actually end Zodiac Ascension swallowing up my reality? If anything, this is just another game." Eisen said to him.
