Trough street
The Capo gang finished their new preparations and relaunched their clubs and their entertainment parties. For several days, they had been closed as they were dealing with some situation.
Despite the rumors of violence occurring in the club, people still wanted to visit the infamous club that Trough street was famous for. Especially since there was a reopening discount for everyone.
There was a line of people waiting outside the Capo gang club, just standing still until they were finally let in. Some were getting impatient, but they couldn't do anything as the Capo gang wanted a big celebration.
There was a big red ribbon tied around the newly-constructed doors. The Capo gang wanted a special 'ribbon-cutting' ceremony to celebrate this occasion.
The leader of the Capo gang, Kopra, himself wanted to cut the ribbon. But oddly enough, he was still nowhere near the ceremony as he was busy in their Joy pre-party party.
That's right. They had a party before the party.
The impatient party-goers were deciding whether or not they should leave when all of a sudden, a strange scent wafted on their noses.
It was the smell of smoke. It was the smell of something smoking. Some people were quick on the uptake and looked around for the source of fire.
They saw the backside of the club in a raging fire. It devoured the structure of the club with such ferocity that made it seem like the fire was alive.
"Fire! There's a fire!!!!"
Some who were oblivious were now fully aware of the tragedy lying about in front of them. Immediately, people started to run away from the club. They didn't want to get barbecued just to party.
Chaos and pandemonium filled Trough street, and the low-level Capo gang members didn't know what to do. They looked around for water, but faucets were weirdly turned off with no water running.
The fire was getting hotter and bigger by the minute. The Capo gang couldn't do anything as they just watched their newly-reconstructed club get devoured by a big flame.
Needless to say, all of the Capo gang's attention was directed at the fire. No one was looking at their base just a few streets away from the fire.
While Capo gang members were busy running around to find their leader, someone was busy lurking around in the backside with a knife in his hands.
"Can't you go any faster?"
"No, Mitre. I can't go any faster. Lockpicking is a patient game," Uver replied.
Mitre looked behind and saw Rola and the others hiding behind alleyways and hidden corners waiting for their signal. Their job was to make sure that they were able to infiltrate the Capo gang's base and save Vrija.
But they had to do it fast or else they would come back after the fire was put out.
They started the fire. This was a diversion thought up by Caesar himself with the help of Rola's inside knowledge of the Capo gang club.
Rola knew exactly where she could start the fire and make it grow without anyone noticing. She also knew where to turn off the valve for the water supply so that they can't extinguish it easily.
With just a trip to some stores, it was easy to buy gasoline and a match. What resulted from this combination was a huge fire that consumed the Capo gang's proudest club.
This way, the Capo gang's group of five Miracled will be too busy putting out the fire to guard their base. Then, they could safely rescue Vrija without a huge confrontation that would only result in their deaths.
CLICK
The backdoor squeaked open as Uver finally forced it to open. Mitre signaled the others to follow along as they went inside the Capo gang's base.
This was not the first time they were here. Back when they were under the Capo gang, they would go there every night after selling all their Joy and give the money to the Capo gang.
This was where they would suffer the most discrimination and unfairness from the Capo gang. They would lessen the amount they were paid because, from their words, 'Rola and the others were just kids, so they wouldn't need much money.'
Uver and Mitre led the way as they circumvented the entertainment area with empty pool tables and shuffled cards, and went around the back to a shaded area to the right.
Mitre kicked a few chairs and tables as he passed them, letting out his frustration. Rola shot him a look.
"What? I'm sure they can't hate us more than setting their whole club on fire."
Ybarra mimicked Mitre and also destroyed a few tables with his fists.
Rola shook her head when she saw a few others following Mitre's lead and destroying property with a smile on their faces.
"You should be happy," Caesar said from the side.
Rola looked at him. "How is this good? This is a rescue mission, not a revenge mission."
"You underestimate a good revenge. You would be surprised what people can do just to get vengeance."
Only Rola, Caesar and a handful of others ventured down into the basement. The others were busy guarding the outside to make sure no one came in, and others were busy looting the base.
'Squeeze out every inch of money from these greedy pigs,' Caesar said to them.
After promising them that all the money from stealing would go to them, the group of teenagers were more than happy to wreak havoc on the base while looting every valuable thing in here.
Rola made way to the underground basement, but it would be wrong to think that this place would be dark, damp, and dingy. No, this part of their base was reserved for lavish parties and events.
This was where their VIPs would get to enjoy drugs, women, and alcohol without any concern for the police. They could do anything illegal here, as long as they paid enough sum to the Capo gang.
Right now, the whole place was deserted like it was an afterparty. There was still leftover confetti on the floor, and even the stage at the front with a stripper pole was still filled with glitter.
Rola frantically searched through the VIP rooms, hoping that she would see Vrija safe in there. She knew that the Capo gang would either kill her or sell her off to prostitution, so she would be hid in these rooms for an auction later. Those sick bastards.
She searched every nook and cranny, but she couldn't find her there. Where was she?
Back at the main base, Ybarra was keeping a look-out on the street, making sure that no one approached this place. But despite being the strongest person in their group, Ybarra was the most afraid of confrontation.
He knew himself that his muscles were not enough to beat a Miracled, much less 5 of them together. But he had the responsibility, as the strongest person, to do the impossible.
But if push came to shove, he could still do something.
'What if you faced someone you couldn't defeat? Would you run away or would you still fight and lose?'
Caesar's words echoed in his mind. He talked to Ybarra before this mission.
'The answer is none of those. Either you run away or you fight, you and your friends will still die. But, if you are able to take out all of them and save your friends, will you do it?' Caesar asked him back then.
'Even if it's at the cost of your life?'
Ybarra took out a brick-like object that was covered by brown paper taped up by glue. This was a bomb. A bomb that Caesar gave him in case thingswent wrong.
It was his responsibility to save them, he thought. He didn't even think that Caesar was manipulating him. He even thought that suicide bombing was his idea, not an idea manipulated by Caesar.
Of course, Caesar made sure to tell Ybarra not to say this to anybody. If Rola knew about this, she would label Caesar as someone ruthless.
Ybarra would be his safety net when things went wrong. He planted the bomb in Ybarra's hands so that if the plan went south, he would be able to escape during the mess.
Ybarra held the bomb in his hands with care. Caesar warned him that just dropping it would result in an explosion that would topple a whole building.
RUSTLE
Ybarra heard a sound from the side that almost made him drop the bomb. He quickly realized that there was someone in the corner, hiding. His body immediately tensed up. One of his hands were on the bomb.
He would have to fight. They won't get inside this base before they rescue Vrija, he thought.
Ybarra rushed to the corner with his giant hands above his head ready to smash whoever was trying to come inside. But as soon as he turned to a corner, he stopped in his tracks.
"Vrija?"
—------------------------
Rola felt like a huge load was taken off her back as soon as she saw Vrija safe and sound. Vrija was the same as she was before. She still had her voluminous red curly hair and her stout figure. Except for the smile missing on her face, she was the same.
"You're safe!"
Vrija couldn't look back at Rola. This was not fear nor relief, Caesar thought. This was something else, like Vrija was hiding something.
Soon, tears rolled down Vrija's eyes and she finally looked up at Rola.
"I'm sorry," she uttered.
Rola's heart stopped as she felt an ominous feeling from Vrija's words. Soon, this bad feeling turned true as soon as she heard a familiar sound.
"*Oh, I have waited for youuu…my sweet, sweet girl.*"
The singing sent chills down her spine.
