Rola opened her eyes. She didn't know what happened and could only remember a strange power overcoming her whole body. The first thing she heard was panicked screams.
"Stop! No, I don't want to die!"
Rola sat up and saw the Capo gang members scattering with horrified faces. They all looked at Caesar as if he was death incarnate.
"Rola, you're awake." Caesar said, looking back at her.
"What happened? Where's Zaturn?"
Caesar smiled and looked to his side where a humanoid body was laying, dead and burnt. It was as if the body was interrupted in the middle of being cremated.
"It's over?" Rola uttered with relief. She didn't care how or what happened, she only cared that the fight was finally done.
"Not yet. We still have to leave alive."
Rola looked around to see that they were still in the Capo gang's main base. There was no change except she could feel the remnants of a great electrical surge in this room, like it had just been through a thunderstorm.
Huh? How did I know that, she questioned herself. But then, she felt a strange sensation all over her body. It was as if there were tiny little insects poking her like little children wanting for their parents to notice them.
She blinked, and all of a sudden, she could see electrical lines all over the room. She could see fast yellow lines zipping around from one corner of the room, to a lightbulb in the ceiling.
She tried to stand up, but she quickly fell down as her legs didn't seem to be working properly. No, that's not it. It worked too well, as if even just one small movement from her legs would be enough for her to jump.
And the most strangest of all was that she felt like she had a connection with them. It felt like she could control them.
She didn't know why, but she felt like she had been reborn again.

"Rola, what do we do? We have to get out of here!" Mitre's concerned shout woke Rola from her stupor. She quickly saw that her group was in disarray.
Most of them were badly injured, with broken bones and bloody noses. The worst of all was Ybarra, who seemed deathly still with an abnormally large pool of blood leaking out of him.
She immediately tensed up and knew that they had to get out of here fast. They had to get Ybarra to get treated or else he would die from losing so much blood.
"I'll carry Ybarra. You help the others. Those that can walk will help those that can't. We have to go now, or else–"
Rola didn't even finish her sentence before the whole wall to the entertainment room burst open, with dust and pieces of concrete exploding towards Rola and her group.
From the wall, Rola saw five figures. Each of them emanating a strange and suffocating feeling. What was this feeling, she thought. This dread, this feeling, that made her feel as if they were dangerous.
The sensation that four of them were producing was not that dangerous for Rola. But the fifth person, the person in the middle, was exuding a strength that made her feel weak.
The person in the middle had a bald head, with a scar going across his face. His eyes were stern and serious as he searched the room for someone. It soon turned into shock and anger when he saw a burnt corpse laying inside.
"Don't tell me that's who I think it is or I swear I will rip you into shreds." Kopra threatened, with his head slowly morphing as if his bones were transforming behind his skin.
Rola felt that Kopra was the most dangerous out of all of them, and the intensity of his power got even more stronger as he started to transform.
Behind Kopra, a long and large red tail grew, with scales that glistened even with a low light. His jaw started to unhinge to give way to large, sharp and spear-like teeth.
His tail continued to grow until it got so heavy that his posture changed, with his upper torso almost parallel to the ground just to balance the weight of the tail.
"I'll rip you all the shreds!" Kopra shouted, his whole body exuding tyranny.
Caesar looked at Kopra and looked at his status. He recognized the creature that Kopra was transforming into. It was a monster from a time long past, a time when not even the primordial humans were alive.

His Miracle power was high, even higher than Rola's Miracle power by a little bit. If Rola and Kopra fought one on one, it would be a 50-50 chance of Rola winning.
Even though Rola had the better stats and almost the same Miracle power, Kopra was the most experienced fighter between the two.
He already mastered his powers, while Rola was still adjusting to her new body–she doesn't even know the full extent of her powers, how then could she exert the full strength of her Miracle drug even though her power was better.
But that was not the worst part. Beside Kopra were four other Miracled with similar strengths and powers. The one in the far left was a man with long bangs covering both his eyes. He wore a goth-style shirt and pants complete with a chain.
The one next to him was a woman with short red hair. She was wearing minimal clothes optimized for mobility. Her well-toned biceps and abs were in full display. She leaned into a black mallet, displaying a 1 tonne weight.
The one on the far right was a woman wearing a chef's attire complete with a tall white chef's hat. She didn't have a weapon, just an overflowing bag containing sticks with white fluffy balls skewered in it.
The one next to her was a man who had his eyes closed. How could he see then? It's all because of the eyes attached all over his arms blinking and staring at Rola and Caesar.
The four of them had an average of 80 in all their stats and an average of 100 Miracle power. If Rola were against them, she could beat them all one on one because of the large gap in Miracle power.
However, if all of them attacked together, Rola would stand no chance. Especially since she had not yet mastered her powers.
Now, all five of these Miracled were angry and ready for vengeance. The combined Miracle power from them would be enough to eradicate Rola's whole group with just a blink.
"We have to run," Caesar said.
Rola agreed but she didn't know how to do such a thing. Her group was already evacuating as fast as they could, but they could never outrun five Miracled.
"Kopra, should we let them escape or not?" the goth man said.
"Don't touch them. They're items that can be sold to pay for Zaturn's funeral," Kopra replied.
"How about those two, boss? They're exuding some dangerous power," asked the woman with the mallet. "Can I take a taste?"
Kopra nodded. "Go ahead."
With that, the woman picked up the 1 tonne mallet with ease as if it weighed like nothing. She swung it around, swaying the air until it produced significant force that swept up a dust storm.
"Rola, you have to fight her."
Rola looked at Caesar as if he was crazy. How could she defeat a woman with super strength? "I can't. I'm just a normal human. I'll get turned into mush!"
"Are you sure? Can't you feel it? The buzz, the static, the urge to consume and control the electricity running around in this room?"
Deep in her heart, Rola knew this was true. But her internalized fear of being helpless was preventing her from believing that she could exude that kind of power.
"Will you let them kill you? Will you let them kill your family?"
"Don't get cocky, kids! Zaturn was just a tag-along. We pitied him and gave him a Miracle drug. Just because you defeated him doesn't mean you can take me on!"
The woman swung her mallet at Rola. For a brief second, Rola's body buzzed with electricity. But no matter how hard she tried to control that power, the more it slipped away from her.
She couldn't dodge. The mallet was not only heavy, but it was also fast. The moment she failed in her attempt to control her lightning powers, was the moment she missed the moment to dodge.
But before she got hit, she felt a force tackling her from the side. Someone tackled her and saved her from being hit. It was Mitre
"W-wake up, Rola… We–we have to leave her alive!"
Even with his ribs broken, Mitre still pleaded for Rola to save herself.
The barbaric woman spat on the ground as she saw Rola still alive. She decided she wasn't going easy on them anymore, starting with this man that interrupted a one on one fight.
"Say goodbye, kid!" The woman swung her mallet at Mitre.
Rola's heart dropped as she saw this happen. She felt like the world slowed down and she saw the mallet slowly heading towards Mitre. She had to do this, now or never.
"AHHH!" Rola screamed and a high voltage electrical explosion emanated from her body. The woman immediately felt a chill in her spine as she felt the dangerous lightning from Rola.
