Dana! Dana!" Desiree called at Dana.
"I'm here senior" Dana said bowing slightly as she stood in front of the black limo that stood in front of the beach house.
Desiree was casually dressed in baggy black pants, a white shirt and a base ball cap, it was unlike the way he usually dressed which made Dana feel weird for putting effort to look a little less casual and more formal with the plit grey skirt, black turtle neck top she tucked in and black boots she wore. According to the work plan Desiree had sent last night they had to go see the event planners and she wanted to look a bit presentable.
When she walked over Linx stared at her from head to toe before going back to his phone. His gesture making Dana feel further uncomfortable as she noticed she was the most dressed person.
"I would be back in a jiffy, I need to change." Dana announced nervously after dropping her back inside the Limo.
"You don't need to, we don't have time to spare and you look fine... " Linx said, his eyes still on his phone.
"Just different" Desiree chipped in.
"O... alright then." Dana replied as she got back into the limo.
"I mean different in a good way you know. For once you ain't dressed like a guy." Desiree said, giving Dana a small smile, for a moment she felt like she was dreaming. Desiree actually spoke nicely to her and even complimented her even though she felt the way she normally dressed was way cooler but it felt kind of good.
The ride to the studio was quite interesting as she and Desiree had gotten into a conversation she knew little or nothing about. He talked about all the lastest fashion, lastest makeup and then how he wanted to go to Paris for the Paris fashion week and then he talked about music, classical music which quite surprised Dana. Looking at Xie Desiree no one would guess he took interest in things of the old but his knowledge in classical music was quite impressive.
As they all stepped into the studio for Linx's vocal classes everyone seemed to become unusually quiet, as soon as they walked past any of the people who stood in twos and threes they began whispering within themselves again throwing weird glances at Linx and then at Dana.
The instructor Young-Jae was really nice and flirty, he kept insisting to get Dana's number untill Linx stepped in, stylishly warning Young-Jae to stay away from Dana.
"Leave me.." Dana said as Linx was holding her too tightly as he walked out the studio with her.
"I'm doing this for your own good. You should stay away from Young-Jae, he's a snake! You don't want to fall into his silly trap. I don't want to see you close to him ever again you hear?!." Linx thundered, his voice lowered but his tune and facial expression so serious.
Dana blinked at him innocently wondering why he was suddenly so protective and angry. She had barely spoken to Young-Jae who found every single opportunity to talk to her. She knew too well how guys like him behaved, they were charming and sweet untill they got what they wanted from you but somehow it felt good having Linx act this way, it reminded her of how Haneul used to behave whenever he saw her with a guy during their school days.
"Cough, cough." A voice broke, breaking Linx and Dana's eyes contact. In front of them stood a really beautiful petite girl, her eyes were smooched with black eye shadow, her lips were painted red with her short bob hair enveloping and enhancing her delicate facial features beside her stood a fairly tall guy with long black hair which was tied up in a bun, a few strands fell across his face framing his blue eyes which one could easily tell were contacts, in one ear he wore a drop cross earring. He was dressed in a peach suit and white sneakers the kind of dressing you won't expect to look good on a guy but it looked excellent on him, the girl beside him wore a black shirt strapless dress. Behind them stood about four other people who looked like their Managers and assistants.
"Did we interrupt a romantic moment?" The girl asked with a devilish smirk, her hands across her chest.
"Come on let's go Dana." Linx said softly at Dana as he began walking towards the opposite direction.
"You still haven't changed Feng Lixin. Still scared of seeing people superior to you huh?" A male voice from behind said making Linx stop on his tracks.
Linx let out a cold laugh, turning back he walked back to were the girl and guy stood all the while still holding Dana.
"It's a pity my "Superiors" are in the same show with a junior like me. Couldn't you guys get a better event or something? Or was this the only show willing to take on terrible talents like yours but wait you probably bribed your way in just like you cheap cheats always do" Linx said, smiling evilly at both of them. The girls face was already a bright shade of red, the guy looked as though he would explode but he tried to maintain his cool as a small crowd had already formed around them.
"You are still so childish Feng Lixin. Is this how you talk to your old colleagues you haven't seen in years? " The guy asked, trying to act unaffected.
"Han-Gyeol, Han-Gyeol I thought fate would at least be merciful to spare you a little sense over the years but you and Eun-Woo seemed to have remained the same just like Eun-Woo's height.
Linx replied still with a smile on his face.
"You didn't think about my height when you were all over me before huh?" Eun-Woo thundered back angrily. She was about to say something before Han-Gyeol held her back.
"Your sense of humor is still as wack as ever, did you skip the basic idol trainings mummy's boy?" Han-Gyeol shot back.
Linx was about to say something but Dana interrupted him, she understood what they were trying to do, they wanted Linx to loose his cool and say something they could use against him seeing that some of the staff around were secretly making videos. They seem to know how to infuriate Linx and they were slowly breaking loose his short temper.
"Jokes are different from facts Brother, and what senior Linx said wasn't meant to be a joke but it seems you can't tell the difference, I guess now we can clearly understand why he thought fate would be merciful to grant you both common sense. If you would please excuse us we'll be taking our leave." Dana said calmly, with an expressionless face. Her words left everyone stunned, even Linx who was quietly watching her make Eun-Woo and Han-Gyeol turn purple with rage.
"How dare you talk to us like that!!! Do you know that you're talking to H.E right now!" Eun-Woo yelled having finally lost her cool. She couldn't stand someone who looked so basic as Dana talk down on her, she was one of the the most popular idols in the country but here she was been insulted by some trash with a pretty face and fairly expensive clothes.
"I don't think I need to know who you are to realize that you ain't worth our precious time." Dana replied calmly shaking off Eun-Woo who's hand as she had grabbed Dana's hand forcefully.
"Stop it Eun!! people are watching." Han-Gyeol whispered to Eun-Woo.
Swiftly Eun-Woo composed herself looking all innocent as she watched Linx and Dana leave the company. Somehow she felt she had seen Dana before but she couldn't place it, she looked and sounded like someone she knew but her memory failed to provide any more information about her.
