Synopsis
In the year 2175, Vampires have come forward from the shadows to become part of civilization. They work alongside humans for the betterment of the Earth as a whole. Flying cities have been erected all over the world, above the existing, now called, Lower Cities. Alex is an orphan boy who lives at the bottom of Xeno Euro. A relatively new city, only 25 years old, that boasts the highest altitude among the flying cities of Old America. The city is run by a master vampire by the name of Earlan Bludfist. In this relatively safe city, humans don't have to worry about their safety, it is guaranteed. All thanks to the vampire soldiers that patrol its streets. In the year 2070, earth was invaded by aliens. They came from the stars and very easily took over key points of the entire world. War was waged, but that only lasted a couple of years. The aliens' technology was too advanced. But then, a miracle happened, a strange, magical energy, suffused into the earth and everything changed.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

Galactic Year 2160, Xeno Euro

In an office on the top floor of Bludfist Tower, a man sat behind a desk, typing on the holographic computer in front of him. He sat in a high backed, comfortable, office chair. His glowing red eyes read over the words he had written before he switched off the holographic image and sat back in the chair.

"Lord Bludfist, the doctor is here to see you," A voice spoke over the intercom, feminine, and musical.

"Send him in," Earlan said, his voice deep and full of power. A few moments later, the door to the office slid open and a nervous looking human man walked in.

"L-Lord Bludfist, I-I have made a breakthrough with the research," The Doctor was sweating profusely and stuttering over his words. Earlan could see the sweat on the man's brow.

"No matter how many times we meet, Doctor, you always seem to remain as afraid of me as ever. Go on, what is this breakthrough." Earlan grew weary of weak willed humans that would never look him in the eye. The weakness disgusted him.

"We have a successful subject, sir. T-The subject has successfully integrated the vampiric DNA while remaining human. He is currently under 24 hour surveillance. All vitals appear to be normal-" As the Doctor continued to speak an image appeared on the holographic screen in front of Earlan. It was the digital record of the research they were conducting. Earlan read through the files as the Doctor continued his report, blacking out sections here and there where sensitive information was mentioned.

"Subject 27911876 appears to be acclimating according to plan. Have you sent this report file to anyone else?" Earlan was pleased by the progress. Vampires could not naturally reproduce, something about the source of energy that they fed on made them naturally infertile.

"With this, we may have found a way for Vampires and Humans to come together. Keep a close eye on the subject. Make sure nothing goes wrong."

"O-Of course lord Earlan. there will be no mistakes, I assure you!"
