Galactic Year 2175, Xeno Euro
I stood in front of the mirror, looking at my reflection to make sure everything was perfect. I was wearing a brand new all black suit, my har was pulled back into a long ponytail that laid perfectly down my back. On the middle finger of my right hand, I wore an intricate silver ring with the image of a skull sporting fangs carved into it. My eyes glinted darkly back at me from the mirror. I knew I was in trouble from Doc's muttering earlier, but I also knew that no matter how much I hated it, I wasn't completely human. No matter how much I wanted to discount it, my eyes told the story. I had his blood, no, his DNA in my body. This went deeper than blood, for him and myself too, he was truly my only parent. He was my father and I despised him for it. I didn't want the life he had set up for me, I would rather just stay here in this shitty apartment and live out my days like a normal human man.
But I couldn't do that, not with the cameras and Doc always watching over me. I knew about the experiments, in one of the rare moments when Doc and I weren't being monitored, he told me about them. He told me that something was expected of me, he never said what it was, but he didn't even really know himself. But I knew it had something to do with my magic aptitude, something about bringing humans and them closer together. Whatever, I didn't care about the reasons why, I cared about if I would live or not. I felt angry at that moment, the rage building quickly and then, the changes happened. Every time my emotions ran high, especially anger. My eyes started glowing brighter, turning more red and intense. The veins on my face and neck contracted, tightening against the surface of my skin, the blood flowing through them black and acrid. The sclera of my eyes turned completely black. Then the fangs appeared, sliding out from my gums, over the top of my existing teeth. My fangs were an above average size for a vampire, or so Doc told me. He said the size of a vampire's fangs directly correlated with the strength of their vampiric bloodline. My fangs were about four and a half inches long, they were shaped like the fangs of a viper. He said that was due to my mixed heritage.
I took a deep breath to calm myself, the power felt too good, like a powerful drug was coursing through my veins. I didn't know much about my vampiric abilities, oh I could know if I wanted to, but I told Doc never to talk about that part of my tests to me. I managed to calm down just before the door to my room slid aside, revealing Doc, suited up for my party.
"Wow looking sharp, Doc!" I whistled, short and low, inviting Doc to blush profusely and begin to sputter.
"M-Master A-A-Alex! T-T-T-Thank y-y-you very much. O-Oh y-you look v-very h-ha-handsome as well s-sir!" He managed to muddle through his words and I smiled. I didn't correct him on how to address me this time, 'cause tonight, I was Master Alex Bludfist.
"Let's go, Doc. Remember, for tonight only. You get to play the part you were hired to." I strode past Doc, heading for the exit of my home/prison. Tonight, my father would know that I wasn't his experiment anymore.

We pulled up to a skyscraping mansion, the tallest building in the entire city, Bludfist Tower. The hover-car stopped in front of the building and I stepped out onto the blood red velvet carpet laid on the ground leading to the doors. There were many people crowded around the carpet, all looking at him in excitement and curiosity. Doc stepped out in front of me and faced the hug crowd, bowing deeply before them he announced in the clearest, strongest voice I had ever heard come out of the man.
"Now presenting, the only true son and heir to Lord Earlan Bludfist, Mater Alex Bludfist!" With those words he stepped aside and gestured for me to walk forward. The crowd was buzzing with whispers and gleaming red eyes followed me intently as I walked down the carpet to the doors. I strode with purpose towards the three figures standing at the end of the carpet, one man flanked by two women. The man was tall and imposing, he exuded power and importance, an oppressive aura filled the space around him. I noticed that the others didn't seem to notice it, interesting. His hair was exactly like my own, long and dark. I looked into his eyes as I walked toward him, they were burning points of dark crimson. Lord Earlan Bludfist. My father.
