Michael refused to be swayed by the reaper's words. The reaper was trying to confuse Michael into giving up on his faith. However, due to Michael's unshakable faith in the Lord, his word and the helmet of salvation he was able to resist.
The Helmet of salvation protects the wearer's mind from attacks. Michael's faith had reached a terrifying level and even the reaper felt intimidated by it.
All of a sudden, the grey clouds which covered the sky parted and a single Ray of light shined down and rested on Michael.
Michael was covered in a shinning golden light from above and this completely enraged the reaper skeleton.
"Damn you!!" It raised a bony finger and gave Michael the middle finger. "I'll just have to Bury you here and now!" It rushed towards Michael angrily, its scythe ready to kill.
Michael didn't move from his current position and when the reaper was close enough, he slashed the reaper's skull with his sword. The reaper didn't react in time and the sword cracked open it's skull hitting the core embedded in its head.
The force of the attack completely ripped the reaper's cloak to shreds and its bony skeleton could now be seen clearly. The skeleton leapt back hastily after forcefully removing its skull from Michael's sword and howled in pain.
The reaper's body began to leak a white smoky substance and if you listened closely, you could hear agonising wails of people coming from the smoke.
It crouched down and its bones began rearranging themselves. It's yellow teeth grew into sharp and pointy canines resembling piranha teeth. It's ears were became bat ears made of bone and it began crawling on all fours like a wolf, prowling and roaring at Michael. The crack Michael's sword made in it's skull added to its look making the reaper skeleton more terrifying than it was before.
The reaper's transformation made Archie tremble in fear. He wasn't confident that he could take on such a terrifying creature.
