The reaper screeched in agony, it was so weak that it had a lot of trouble standing properly.
Michael took advantage of this moment of weakness to move in front of the reaper and destroy the last core embedded in the reaper's knee.
The reaper screeched even louder, it's bones started rattling and dismantling themselves from their normal positions before turning into powder.
In the midst of the powder, a black butterfly flew out of it. Archie caught it with his claws and destroyed it before it could escape.
"You did it!" Archie praised Michael.
"No, we did it...together. " Michael said with a smile on his face ."It was through the grace of God. "
Michael walked up to Archie and patted his shoulder with his right hand. "Thanks man, you know.....for everything. "
"Glad I could be of service."
Michael took a step, swayed and collapsed against Archie. Archie hurriedly held him up. "Michael! Michael! Open your eyes! Stay with me man! Don't die on me, don't you dare die on me!" He yelled carrying Michael into the church to the doctors.
Some of the priests retrieved the shield and the Bishop finally closed the hole in the barrier.
MEANWHILE,
Viola and the rest finally proceeded to the second phase of their plan which was to sneak into the castle.
"Once they see it's not a skeleton driving this wagon, we'll get captured for sure." Cecelia remarked.
"Don't be such a pessimist. Have some faith will ya, I'm sure that we will be fine" Matthew said to which Henry nodded.
Mordecai turned to look at Cecelia. "Who told you a skeleton won't be driving this wagon?"
"In case your memory is lacking, we killed all the skeletons remember? " Cecelia continued attacking Mordecai.
Mordecai ignored her and pulled out a little vial which had a milky white substance in it. He held it up so everyone could see. "See this? This is our ticket to get into the castle undetected. "
