Mordecai opened the vial and chugged down it's content. After five seconds, he began to glow and then he transformed into an exact replica of a skeleton guard.
"How did you do that?!" Henry asked fascinated. "It was the potion, wasn't it?"
"Yes, the potion is called an illusion potion. Once you drink it you only have to think of what you would like to become and then....POOF!"
"You're a skeleton now, not bad." Viola remarked.
"I cannot believe you chose to transform yourself into a walking piece of dry bone. So disappointing. " Cecelia said with distain in her voice.
"Cecelia!" Nigel said.
"What! I'm only saying the truth. "
"I know but do you have to be so...so..." Nigel said. He was trying to come up with words to qualify her.
"Pessimistic " Viola suggested.
"Sarcastic " Matthew added.
"Judgemental " Henry also added.
"I don't know about you guys but I refuse to pretend everything is going to be okay when it's obviously not! We are all honestly and completely fucked and you all know it. " Cecelia said refusing to back down.
"Alright, Alright. Everyone needs to chill, okay? " Mordecai was trying to meditate the situation and prevent it from escalating any further. " Fighting isn't going to solve anything. Let's just focus on the plan, please."
"okay"
"Alright "
"If you say so."
"Thank you!" Mordecai said gratefully.
The group climbed into the cage and Mordecai locked it to make it seem nore believable before going to sit in the driver's seat and leading the wagon to the castle.
On getting to the castle gates, they discovered that their wagon wasn't the only one going to the castle. There were a lot of wagons lined up in an orderly manner trying to gain entry into the castle.
A lone skeleton checked the wagons before granting them access into the castle gates.
