It was already midday when Opal woke up. She felt so refreshed and warm and then it hit her. All the memories from last night. How she eagerly obeyed the Alphas commend, how she spread her legs for him and begged to fuck her more. The heat was gone but Opal sure felt that her face must be of the color of a very ripe tomato. She turned around, there was nobody in her bed, she was alone. Did he go out somewhere or has he simply left? For a moment she couldn't decide what was the main emotion she felt right now. Was she relieved or sorry and disappointed?
Opal got out feeling a little soreness. She needs to wash up as quickly as possible. Her mind was restless. She didn't like to think about what happened. She was getting nervous not knowing what to do. Jayden left without a word after their passionate night. Has he simply fucked her and now he will dump her? Bragging around that he made a slut out of her. She felt so anxious that she couldn't focus on anything. Even her hands started to shake. She needs to clear her mind. Opal washed herself very thoroughly, she even drank a herbal mixture to prevent from getting pregnant. Hunting was the best thing she could do right now. Hunting will make her focus, she needed some supplies anyway. She left the house and walked towards the forest. She knew the best hunting spots but for something bigger like a deer she had to switch her tactic. Opal felt the slight excitement coming along with the hunting. She took off her clothes and fastened her bowie knife made of damascus steel. A precious gift she received from Ryer years back. Opal shifted. There wasn't much snow left and she could sniff some minor animals, even a faint small of some Beta wolf passing here this morning and the smell of fresh earth, drenched with water as well as plants waking up from winter's sleep. She was running along her well known route. Sniffling around to catch a trace of some prey. Normally wolves hunt in a pack as this strategy allows them the greatest chance of success if it comes to a bigger prey however opal had a different one. If she wanted something bigger than a rabbit, squirrel or even a mouse she had to work hard for it. She smelled the sharp odor of a deer. Opal moved in that direction, the animal wasn't far she was moving slowly not making any sound and against the wind. There it was, a young male deer. She only had one chance. The wolf moved quickly giving a short chase she jumped and attacked prey's flanks making the deer lose its balance. In an instant Opal shifted, pulling her knife and stabbing the deer twice before cutting its throat. She stood up, she was blood covered and felt nauseous. Shifting within a blink of an eye was fucking painful but useful. Opal learned it from Ryer. That was her only chance to handle her hunting alone. She managed to regain her steady breath only to notice she wasn't alone anymore. Opal shifted again, clenching her teeth from pain. It was a tall man standing twenty meters away. She hadn't noticed him earlier as she was so immersed in the killing act. Opal pulled her ears back and squinted her eyes. She moved slowly watching the man. His face was partially covered by a hood but she could smell it was an Alpha. The man slowly pulled the hood down revealing snowy white long hair. Opal stood frozen there was something about that man's face she knew.
"Hi Opal." a deep baritone greeted her. "Do you remember me?"
Opal stuck her ears straight, she was waiting.
"Probably not, I'm your mother's younger brother. I've seen you when you were a little pup." He came closer and Opal could see his gray, almost silver eyes.
"You have grown quite a lot and you are a hell of a killer I must admit." he smiled "One must be careful while around you."
The Omega didn't know what to do, she kind of felt drawn to that man. Her uncle, she had a family she wasn't aware of? Opal approached him and sniffled the air around. He had a nice dominant smell of vetiver, earthly smoky and fresh. She liked that.
He pulled his hand in her direction as if he wanted to stroke her head. Opal came closer and let him touch her soft fur. He was gently caressing her head and even touched her ears without realizing it Opal purred.
The man smiled showing his sharp canines, still his smile was nice. He had a straight long nose and thin lips. He was handsome in a predatory manner. It was hard to say how old he was but looked like late twenties.
"I want to talk to you Opal, I have so much to tell you. You have got your mother's hair but your father's eyes."
Opal stepped back and shifted slowly. She felt a bit embarrassed being naked in front of another man but he saw her anyway.
"We can talk in my home, but I must take care of the deer first." She pointed in the direction of her prey.
"Sure, may I help you to carry it?"
Opal nodded and her uncle lifted the deer placing it on his broad shoulders as if it weighed nothing. It was always Opal's biggest problem to carry the prey back home. Guess not today. She shifted back to her wolf form and showed him the way. She felt so excited that she forgot to ask him about his name. But it was OK, she had time to do it, she had an uncle, she wasn't alone anymore. She had a family.
