The car ride was silent. Diablo and Alexandra drove through the darkness, and she could not help but stare at his white knuckles. She cleared her throat, her voice breaking through the silence, "You are going to break the steering wheel."
Her words fell on deaf ears, seeing as Diablo could care less about his steering wheel. Alexandra shifted uncomfortably in her seat as she did not know why she suddenly had the urge to speak to him. For some reason, his silence bothered her.
"Who is Maria?" The words were out of her mouth before her brain could process them.
Alexandra was not sure, but something told her that the wheel had cracked under his death grip. His jaw sharpened more than any blade she had ever seen. His eyes burned with an icy hatred and it sent an unpleasant shiver down her spine.
But what he said was certainly not what she was expecting to hear: "She is the woman I want-"
