"Have you ever been in love?"
The question took Alexandra off guard. Of all the things she had expected to hear first thing in the morning, that certainly was not it. Deborah was changing Alexandra's bandages in the room Diablo had given her; the two women have been stuck with each other ever since the attack at the park, which happened over two weeks ago. Alexandra hadn't seen Benny and Diablo ever since that night they almost took her life.
Apparently, they were handling some business in Columbia, according to Deborah. Which left the two women alone.
To say they had bonded would be an understatement. Who knew that Benny's hiring Alexandra as her companion would have actually worked out?
Alexandra was hesitant before answering Deborah, "Yes."
"What was it like?"
