"Well? Aren't you going to say anything?" Diablo asked, his brow furrowed. Alexandra's grip on her towel tightened as she watched him pace her living room. She did not fail to notice how his eyes would occasionally go to the painting of the crying man.
Her eyes went to the open door and she shook her head in disbelief. She could not believe how he easily walked in like he owned the place. Alexandra hesitated before shutting the door and heading to her bedroom. "I have nothing to say."
She locked her bedroom door twice, but even then she did not feel safe. It was almost as if he could see right through the door. Her anxiety only got worse when she did not get a response.
