Every other wolf around her heard the howl, and then more and more joined in. The wolves sounded like they were extremely close, right at the border of the lands, really.
And for a single split second, everything was
caught in stillness. And then pandemonium broke out around them. Wolves ran in every direction and shifted into wolf form, some even jumped, taking to the air and shifting, falling back to the ground as wolves again.
They couldn't shift too close to each other, that was when they were a real danger to each other.
AN Omega could safely shift near another wolf, what with how calm and in absolute control they were able to be. It was why, when Auburn's wolves had taken her the first time, they hadn't been too concerned about her shifting. It was just such an ingrained part of them that they should not
shift so close to each other, that they hadn't thought that she would.
