"It's time to begin," Bronx called out.
Layla watched from her perch, she wasn't allowed to take part, and she wasn't allowed to go into the forest, either. She was a casual bystander, just like any other wolf in this, other than the fact that she was the quintessential prize to be won.
She adjusted herself on the seat that had been made for her, it was actually quite comfortable, if she was being honest with herself. And she was tired now already, she didn't particularly feel like taking part in the activities, even if she'd been allowed.
The wolves brought her some food from the buffet table. There was nothing exceptional, it was just to keep everyone's hunger at bay until the actual feast began.
Which would only be after the hunt.
