I was sitting on top of a huge rock, legs crossed, staring at the one-eyed man with his hands akimbo to his hips. Scrutiny masking his all-over visage all the while glaring at the abaca plant with uncertainty.

Just as what I had specifically told Edric, the rest of the crew has arrived and is gazing at me with disdain, as if I had summoned them for nothing and have gone insane.

These buffoons. They really don't know how the process of spinning and weaving works.

"So, uh…" Callum stalled, casting me a bemused look. "How is this going to make us a sail?"

I resisted the impulse to roll my eyes and uncrossed my legs before sliding down the rock. 

"Well, I haven't actually tried the process myself," I admitted, which immediately earned a cacophony of groans from the crews, especially Osier and Patton. I just ignored them and went on with what I was saying.

"But as I have read in the book, yes, we can turn this into a sail."
