A comfortable blanket of silence wrapped around us. The solemn cadence of his breathing is somehow lulling me to sleep. Peculiarly, in spite of what he did over a month ago, his physical proximity helps me relax and makes me feel completely secure. Edric was right about one thing, though. He did regret it.
