Another week had passed and now I'm halfway done finishing Callum's hat. There are still three more to go, but my hands were straining after weaving looms for the rest of the crew. I never thought that they would love it, and honestly, I am so happy to be of help even in the slightest. The heat is unbearably fierce while we're in the middle of the ocean, with no land in sight and the air is stifling hot like it's come straight from the volcano's mouth.
I am not exaggerating, but that is exactly how I feel, and certainly, they do too, but for some apparent reason, they're too much proud to complain about the heat. Except for Edric. He whines with me like a child to his mother. I kind of sense he misses the island breeze too.
The bell suddenly tolled three times above the deck, and the pounding of heavy footfalls drummed against the wooden floor, sending bits of dusts falling to where I huddle along with the bundles of endless abaca fibers.
