“Azrael, there is no ‘we’ between us” I took a step backwards, and he took one forward. “You are the egotistical vampire who took me hostage and I am the innocent naive girl whose life took a drastic turn ever since you happened”
My back hit a wall and it was too late to slip past him for I was cornered, our faces barely inches apart and I made a mistake of looking up at him.
“Then how do you explain this?” He slammed his lips against mine and my eyes grew wide. Did he just…kissed me?!

Aurora Moon is a 19 year old who recently moved to the suburbs of Houston due to college. Along with her best friend Whitney, they both start their lives as young adults, attending classes, drinking late and going for karaoke parties.
Life was good for Aurora, that is until she crosses path with a half dead vampire on a lone street at night. Of course she had no idea of who he was as she approached him to offer help, by the time she realized, it was too late, his fangs were deep in her neck, draining every pint of blood from her.
Azrael watched the life vanish from the girl as she cupped her neck, she dropped to the ground with a look of shock. Dead. To him, she was a victim of wrong time, wrong place. Her poor luck. He took a step over her lifeless body but halted midway; he had hear her heart beat.
Retracting his steps, he checked the girl’s pulse, sure enough, she was alive but she was dead a minute ago. This brought confusion to Azrael and he wasn’t fond of being confused.
Aurora wakes up with no memory about what happened but is met with a devilishly handsome vampire with an obsession over her who declared her his.
External forces attack Aurora and is after her for reasons unknown, she has no choice but to stick with the vampire in order for her to live. Azrael’s obsession for Aurora grows deeper and deeper.
Everyone knows there’s nothing a man couldn’t do for love, but Azrael is no ordinary man.
