Lee Yong was lost in thoughts of his little brother for a long time and then decided to make a move. Lee Yong wanted to dance till his body hurt more than his heart. With determination, he walked towards his band's exclusive practice room.
Lee Yong might be good at creating music, but he used to be really bad at dancing. But with constant practice, he fell in love with dance and the relaxation it brings him. Still, he was not so good at dancing, but thankfully he was not bad anymore.
After the intense dancing session, it always felt like he did something productive, especially when he ended up aching in a weird place at the end of it.
Lee Yong looked at the crowd outside their dance room. He realised quickly that he wouldn't be able to dance any time soon with the nosy people around.
He was still annoyed that he could not catch hold of his brother and was not in the mood to deal with his company artist being there for gossip.
He believed everyone was here because of the stories going around the new choreographer.
And he was not wrong.
He was tempted to return to his apartment but did not want to leave his band members to deal with the new choreographer. It felt wrong. After all, he might have been a heartless elder brother, but he was never a bad band leader.
They were all here for the new choreographer - not because of the gossip but to see something else. It took him five minutes to move through the crowd and enter. But he was stopped by his bandmates from entering the room.
Lee Yong glared at the three others in his band. Instead of shooing these gossipmongers away, they joined those brainless gossipers and stood outside the room to peek inside. Then he noticed the only sensible one - Baby Love, the maknae of the band was missing.
He knew he wouldn't take out his anger on the members, but he might do it to the bystanders who were being the obstacle for him to dance now or the new choreographer who was the cause of this.
Manager Do Hye-Gun is in the practice room, along with Na Hyun Joon discussing something. Lee Yong noticed a third person with them as he could see Hyun Joon and manager Do speaking to someone with them. It was hard to see the person past the tall, burly figure of manager Do.
Lee Yong guessed it was their new choreographer. After hearing all the rumours and witnessing the protective stance of two well-known artists, Lee Yong was curious to know who it was as well.
"Why only our 'Baby Love' is getting the special treatment? Why is he only allowed inside the practice room, not me? Are we not welcome to use the practice room when our new choreographer and Baby Love are inside?" Lee Yong raised his voice to catch the nosy idols' attention and the new choreographer.
The man addressed in the complaint, Baby Love - Na Hyun Joon, smiled cheekily at their band leader as if he was the only one who could use the room now and looked at their leader with a teasing smile.
"Boss! Our manager seems to be displeased with the choreographer because of the rumours. So the new choreographer said he would prove his worth before taking the role of our band's exclusive choreographer." Yun Soo explained everything softly to their band leader.
"He will choreograph the song our Baby Love was working on for his new album. With just the music." Chung Seok explained to their bandleader, anxiously hoping to avoid the blender from happening.
"Really bold to dance for the unpolished music..." Lee Yong tsked at the choreographer, knowing it was a useless attempt and time waste to the artist.
Even the completed song would have multiple choreography before they finalise the moves. Every idol hates it as it takes most of their time and drains their energy, only for their company to choose the dance moves that are even more complicated in the end.
If the song were complete, Lee Yong would be fine with the choreographer designing a few moves. But the incomplete song was double the trouble as it needed polishing and rewriting. So Lee Yong could not help but glare at the choreographer who was still hidden behind Manager Do for wasting his maknae's time and effort that should have been channelled into polishing the song.
"Our baby love danced for our debut song with his own moves just now. They were so cool. I did not even know our maknae was good at showing off." Kim Ji Yu realised he had gone off the topic. With a sheepish smile, he continued. "Now the choreographer must devise a choreography matching his ability and the music. On the spot." Kim Ji Yu elaborated further on what was happening inside their dance room.
Kim Ji Yu and Ji Yun Soo might be the pranksters of the group, but when it came to working, they were diligent.
"Who came up with this idea?" Lee Yong realised that the plan was pure evil as the dance moves won't be used for the final song no matter how good it was.
Also, the plan would help them eliminate this choreographer in the long run if Hyun Joon was not satisfied with the dance moves. The unpolished song would definitely give them an upper hand, and they could give away the shady choreographer.
Lee Yong approved of this heartless plan secretly.
No one realised Lee Yong's thoughts and wished to get rid of the new choreographer.
Chung Seok felt terrible for the new choreographer who did not have a name and fame in the industry. He pitied the man. "Our manager! He is the one who came up with the plan and bullied the new choreographer."
Then he leaned closer to their band leader and requested to save the 'poor' choreographer. He looked at the manager as if he was bullying an innocent person.
"Never knew he was such a bully." Lee Yong became more intrigued by the turn of events but was not surprised by Chung Seok's oblivious naivety.
After commenting, he neither moved to save the choreographer nor asked the manager to tone down.
