Everyone surrounded Haneul and was busy gushing over his amazing moves. Other band artists and solo artists were trying to see if they could make him help with their song's choreography.
Na Hyun Joon skipped over to his band members happily. He looked at his band leader like an obedient little maknae.
Na Hyun Joon spoke with puppy eyes that he knew would work on anyone and everyone. "Let's keep him, please. If we delay making him part of our team, others will take him for themselves soon. He is too good! I had never come across someone dancing this well, personally. I don't want to lose him. Please, boss."
"He is not going anywhere. I will make sure of that." Lee Yong spoke his words without taking his eyes off their new choreographer, Choi Haneul. He liked the way the name sounded in his mind. As much as he wanted to test how it rolled on his tongue, he held back.
Na Hyun Joon looked at the way his band leader looked at the new choreographer without blinking. He was taken aback as soon as he understood the intention behind the gaze but composed himself as he looked at Lee Yong with mischief. "He is beautiful, right?"
"Yeah… I mean, his moves were beautiful." Lee Yong caught himself from blurting out more and tried to rectify the situation.
Na Hyun Joon narrowed his eyes, wondering what was going on in his band leader's head about the new choreographer. "Just the moves?"
"Na Hyun Joon!" Lee Yong glared at the maknae, who usually knew when to drop the topic.
But this time, the maknae was not willing to listen to anyone. "Can't help it, boss. He is beautiful, and you look at him quite blatantly. It is obvious."
Lee Yong was baffled, but he played dumb quickly. "I don't know what you are talking about…"
Na Hyun Joon saw through his band leader act. He was about to call him out on the bullshit. But he saw a movement in his peripheral vision.
Whatever Na Hyun Joon was about to say stopped midway as he saw the topic of their conversation make a way towards them with a cocky smile. He could not help but smile at the cute choreographer, who was talented and absolutely gorgeous. And most of all, he knew it.
"What is the band leader's verdict? Can I work with your band, or should I work with some other band? I got some interesting offers from the band leaders now." Choi Haneul asked cheekily with a smile that made it difficult for Lee Yong to breathe.
Lee Yong had to physically stop himself from holding his chest as the tightness increased his heart as he saw the smile that reached Haneul's eyes, irrespective of it being cheeky. When he felt everyone's eyes on him as they all waited for his answer, for the first time, he hated being the centre of everyone's attention.
At this moment, he liked having only one person's attention on him, and he did not even know the reason.
"Is everything okay, Mr Lee?" Choi Haneul asked with a frown, and his voice was laced with concern.
Lee Yong realised he hated the frown on the beautiful face. But when he found the frown came with concern towards him, he felt a warmth spreading through his heart. It did not take him long to realise that he was crushing over the new choreographer.
Snapping himself from the shocked stupor, Lee Yong spoke the first thing that came to his mind. "You can stay. For now… we will decide later if you can continue or not later."
Go Dae-Kyun saw everything from the side and thought Lee Yong was unnecessarily rude to Haneul. He stepped up and reminded the arrogant band leader. "So… the bet?"
"I will keep my word." Lee Yong accepted his defeat and intended to pay his part of the bet.
"Once I get it, I will give your share ." Go Dae-Kyun threw his left arm around Haneul's shoulder and pulled the man who was supposed to be his maknae into a side hug with a smile.
He was tempted to give a talk to entire celestials, especially Lee Yong. But he decided to be civil for now as Haneul had to work with the five members of that stupid band.
"Hyung is the best!" Choi Haneul did not hesitate to hug the man who was supposed to form a band with him all those years and stood by him when everything went down in his life.
It was an endearing sight to everyone around. After all, Go Dae-Kyun never stayed in the company nor spoke to others freely. So they all thought the superstar actor of their company was an unreachable self-centric man. But now he looked very friendly and approachable. They all admired the friendship between Choi Haneul and Go Dae-Kyun.
Contrary to everyone else thought, Lee Yong could not stand their familiarity. It didn't feel very pleasant to him. Thankfully, Go Dae-Kyun left as he got a call from his manager.
The conversation continued about the dance between Na Hyun Joon and Haneul. Soon the band members joined in, and the talk moved to mindless, mundane topics. They all made themselves comfortable on the floor.
Lee Yong did not join the conversation but was with them 'observing'.
Other artists dispersed from the Celestials' practice room, leaving the band members to their bonding session with the choreographer.
With each minute he spent near Haneul, Lee Yong realised the man was pleasing to the eyes and was really good at sweet-talking people. He felt a sense of bitterness pool in his stomach as he saw Kim Ji Yu and Ji Yun Soo sitting very close to Haneul. Yun Soo even threw his arms around Haneul and behaved very closely.
Before Lee Yong snapped at the stupid playboy for being close with others, president Lim Tae-Ri walked into the practice room. Haneul left with her to finish a few documentation works that were yet to complete.
