Chereads / Charming Idol’s Shameless Choreographer (BL) / Chapter 44 - You wanna Bet, Lee Yong?

Chapter 44 - You wanna Bet, Lee Yong?

Haneul smiled at the useless threat considering it was his boss who owned the majority of CraZe's share, and no one could throw him out.

"How old are you? Fifteen? Behaving like a petty teenager who is so full of himself!" Kim Ji Yu taunted the choreographer.

"I am just two years younger than your band leader - Lee Yong. Are you saying your band leader is seventeen, then?" The choreographer arrogantly asked.

Hyun Joon controlled his chuckle as he looked at the new choreographer with interest. The man had a lot of insight into dance. He realised it based on the discussion they had after he showcased his ability. But he was surprised by the smartness and sharp tongue.

Manager Do also ignored the blatant disrespect towards the band and the band leader, as he believed they needed to be put in place once in a while.

Kim Ji Yu panicked as he pointed the finger at the choreographer in anger. "You!!! I did not mean like that!"

Kim Ji Yu realised their new choreographer was not someone to be trifled with, and he decided to be a little more cautious in the future. But now he has to find a way to appease his band leader.

He frantically looked at their band leader, hoping the man understood he was innocent.

"In that case, I will take it as a compliment then. Who does not want to look younger than their age!" The choreographer shrugged off the worried Ji Yu's explanation as well as the glaring eyes of the band leader.

His laid-back attitude only made him look like a good fun loving person but with a crafty attitude.

Ji Yun Soo looked at their calm but impossibly angry leader. But he could not help but complain. "Boss, say something! He is bullying us!"

"Let him dance and secure his place first. He has to be worthy enough to become our choreographer." Lee Yong was quite confident the new choreographer was someone who just walked through the backdoor without real talent.

He was determined that even if the choreographer secured his place, he would find a way to kick him out of their band.

A female with a soft voice spoke as if not realising the tense atmosphere.

"We are here to see the new choreographer's performance. Can we join as well?" Lydia entered the crowd with her band members with a smile. She teased Haneul as if she did not hear Lee Yong's snarky comments.

Before the 'Celestials' members or the manager responded rudely, Haneul stepped up.

"I would be an idiot to refuse someone as pretty as you?! Please be the guest!" Haneul effortlessly flirted with the queen of CraZe. He walked out of the practice room, straight to her and offered her his hand as he smiled like the flirt master he was.

When everyone expected her to put the new choreographer in place for being forward, she smiled and linked her hand with him.

"Shameless flirt!" Lee Yong scoffed at Haneul's behaviour as something churned in his stomach. He glared at the linked hand as if it was set fire to his skin.

Everyone was surprised and started to murmur about the closeness between them. The only person not affected by Lydia and Haneul's behaviour is Go Dae-Kyun, but he still has a beef to settle with Lee Yong for talking about Haneul's debut or the failure to debut.

"You wanna bet, Lee Yong? Your maknae won't be able to follow my maknae's steps easily. Your maknae would struggle a lot!" Go Dae-Kyun smirked at Lee Yong.

Initially, Go Dae-Kyun was supposed to be the leader of a band. But after the series of bitter events, the band never made it to its debut. While the other trainees left the company, Go Dae-Kyun stayed. He became an actor and then sang a few original soundtracks for series but never wrote any songs by himself. He made a name in acting and did not engage in music much.

Lee Yong knew about it. He also heard the new choreographer was a trainee who did not debut. Now that everything fell into place, he figured this choreographer was part of that unlucky disbanded pre-debut group.

Lee Yong glared at the ace actor in front of him. "Your maknae? In that case, let me tell you that my maknae can dance absolutely well. I am pretty sure your maknae won't even be able to come up with decent movements for the song."

Go Dae-Kyun glared back at the attack. "You shouldn't have said that. Haneul! Crush them!"

Haneul smiled at the banter at the doorway of the practice room.

"What's the bet?" Lee Yong had his priorities straight, and he knew believing his maknae would make him the winner.

Go Dae-Kyun responded smugly. "One month's revenue - every payment we get for the gigs we do this month, as well as the amount we will get for signing new contracts. Even the revenue of the music you create this month should be included in the bet. I include the money I will get if I sign any movie or series."

"Perfect!" Lee Yong agreed as he found the 'loot' perfect and believed he would win.

"Whoever wins, give half of your spoilt to your maknae!" Haneul's words startled everyone out of the tense environment. Everyone looked at him, a little too surprised at his demand.

Haneul shrugged his shoulder and explained further. "You guys are betting based on our capability. It is only fair we get a share of the price."

"I would like that too… Hyung, you have to share the prize with me." Hyun Joon grinned, knowing he could pocket some money just by dancing. Even if he loses, it won't be his money. It was a perfect win-win situation.

Lydia frowned. "Oppa! Don't lead Hyun Joon astray…"

Everyone got the next shock when Lydia called the choreographer 'Oppa!' She never calls anyone Oppa in the industry. It is either sunbae or hoobae, or ahjussi. She never addressed anyone intimately.

"Too late!!! He is going to be my best friend!" Haneul threw an arm around Hyun Joon's shoulder as if they were already best friends.

Hyun Joon was amused by the antics but smiled politely.

"Kiss goodbye to your innocent maknae then…" Go Dae-Kyun pats Lee Yong's shoulder in mock sympathy before walking into the practice room while the room owners are still outside.

Soon everyone, including the other nosy idols, entered the practice room to witness the dance.

Haneul looked at the crowded practice room, but the idols sat together in a corner, giving more space for the two people to dance. Adrenaline pumped through him as excitement filled him to the core. "Let's start…"
