Druak had been watching everything that had transpired and was furious that someone had used his body to do all these horrible and devastating things to so many people.
As the battle continued Druak watched as the being that possessed him plans began to fall apart.
He was glad, glad of the fact that the Argus knights had arrived even if they couldn't save the people that had already been mercilessly killed.
He didn't want to see any more bloodshed and was even willing to die if it meant stopping it.
The problem was no matter what he did he still couldn't break free and save them, all he could do was really on the Argus knights.
The battle continued on and Druak constantly tried to break free from this beings clutches but still to no eval, no matter how much he tried nothing seemed to work it was just constant torture.
However, Druak began to feel relief as he watched the battle continue and his body begin to get slowly destroyed by a Knight clad in gold. This may have seemed weird to some but he was ready for his life to finally come to an end, even if he wasn't able to do what he wanted. It didn't matter to him, his father and his friend Isacc would be safe from this being so he thought of it as more of a sacrifice for them.
The only thing that mattered to Druak at that very moment was stopping any more of this devastation.
Druak had watched the fight between his body and Greyhound and it finally came time for the end. Greyhound's fist approached his chest faster than he could possibly see and as it did Druak closed his eyes ready for the end, but for some reason, it didn't come.
At first, he thought he had been brought back in time once again but after opening his eyes he noticed he was still passed and was now no longer near the battlefield he was once at.
As he opened his eyes he also noticed something else, his connection with his body had strengthened greatly.
As he observed his body he began to realise that it was greatly injured and it seemed as though the injuries he sustained made the being possessing him far weaker than it originally was.
While he still had the chance Druak began to focus all his concentration on his mana veins, trying as hard as possible to break the control of his mind.
[YOU DARE TRY AND FREE YOURSELF FROM ME.]
Just as Druak's mana was close to taking back control another much darker mana seemed to stop him. It was as if it was pushing all of Druaks mana out of his body.
[I GUESS IT'S TIME TO DISPOSE OF YOU]
Druak began to feel more and more exhausted, it was as if his life was being drained until there was nothing left. He clenched his teeth tightly together, and despite being in a black abyss he still somehow managed to feel pain.
The pain was so excruciating that he had to stop focusing on his mana and it began to fade away slowly.
Just as Druaks last drop of mana was about to leave his body something happened that seemed to stop the darker mana.
[THE VESSEL ISN'T COMPLETE, WHAT IS IT DOING]
Just like Druaks mana, the darker mana began to leave his body as if it was being sucked toward something beyond its control.
However, unlike Druak's, it wasn't disappearing it was flowing through the air. It looked as if black murky water had been magically placed and was floating in the air.
As the murky mana floated in the air it seemed to have a specific location it was trying to go towards.
The skeleton on the ground seemed to be glowing as it released some kind of magic that was sucking the murky mana in.
As the mana got closer and closer to the skeleton it began to absorb it as if it was specifically made to do so.
[NOOOO, THE CATALYST ISN'T READY]
The being which had been possessing Druak began to appear within the void space, and as it did Druak realised he recognised it.
"You're the knight from my dreams and the visions I've been seeing." Druak's face was in shock, how could this be, what linked him to this being.
However just as Druak was about to ask more questions he realised something. The skeletal being in front of him seemed to be clutching onto the wall of this void as if it didn't want to leave.
It did take Druak much time to realise what was going on.
He rushed as quickly as he could to the being, knowing that it was trying to cling to anything that could keep it inside of his body.
"I think it's time for you to leave." Druak stood directly in front of the skeleton.
[YOU WOULDN'T DARE, I CAN GIVE YOU KNOWLEDGE AND POWER YOU COULDN'T POSSIBLY IMAGINE]
Druak just looked at him and said"No thanks." He then proceeded to swing his fist right at the skeleton's crotch.
*Bang* A burst of blue mana exploded out of Druaks body, causing any of the remaining darker mana to leave.
As the darker mana left something seemed to also flow out of Druaks body. A small black shard that looked like it was shattered off from something.
Druak stared at the floating shard as it slowly drifted towards the skeleton.'Wait, is that what was controlling me.' Druak tried to grab the shard as quickly as possible but it managed to slip just out of his grasp.
The shard entered the skeleton's body causing it to begin to rise.
'I need to think of something quickly, I have to stop this being from roaming free.'
Druak rummaged through his pockets and looked all around him, but all he could see was a small steel dagger and the Dura crystals he had collected.
'Wait the Dura crystals'...."THEY'RE EXPLOSIVE."
Druak ran towards the closest Dura crystal grabbing it and rushing towards the skeleton still on the ground.
[WORTHLESS BODY, IT'S ONLY A LESSER RED CORE... WAIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING]
Just as the skeleton was inspecting its new body it saw Druak running straight towards it.
"Time for you to pay for what you've done." Druak grabs the Dura crystal straight into the skeleton and sends a massive bolt of mana through it, causing a massive reaction.
*BANG*
Druak tries to get away from the blast but is too slow and gets hit in the back sending him flying into the nearby rocks.
*Thud*Druak slams to the ground with ringing in his ears and blood dripping from his face.
"That's payback for taking over my body a**hole." Druak eyelids slowly close shut as he lays there burned and bloody on the ground.
