Chapter 17 - Chapter 17

In the blink of an eye, one week went by.

Logan and Castiel had been searching online for anything related to werewolves. This was the only place they could acquire knowledge about it, so they could only stick with it.

According to what they found out, other than rare occasions like a blood moon, as well as full moons. There are a few things that could trigger the transformation of a werewolf, the one which was mostly stated was unexpectedly emotions. The emotions of a werewolf would stimulate them, making them transform unknowingly.

The time Logan transformed and killed that man who threatened him, his emotions were originally stimulated during the daytime, then when he walked past the place he was attacked, it increased.

Other than emotions, there is a type of wolfsbane that is said to be able to stimulate their transformation. Of course, all they knew is from the internet which might most likely be all crap.

The only ones they were certain of were emotions and the full moon. A full moon occurs once a month. This was completely different from the blood moon that occurred the previous time.

"When's the next full moon?" Logan asked.

"If I'm not mistaken, it should be around the next two weeks or so." Castiel replied after giving the issue careful thought.

"That should be around the time I was bitten as well." Logan said.

"Hmm, we better start searching for a bunker for you. Then, there's also the issue of chains. And, then there's wolfsbane." Castiel started to count the items they needed to stop Logan during his first transformation under a full moon.

"What do you need the wolfsbane for?" Logan couldn't help but ask.

The few times he had been in contact with it, he hated how it made him feel. Just thinking of it alone made his head feel fuzzy.

"Daphne said those chains wouldn't have been able to hold you without the flowers, which means you're strong enough to break them. I definitely do not want to endanger myself." Castiel tapped his friend on the shoulder.

"I just need to get my emotions in check, I'll be fine. Besides, there's no way I would attack you. I mean, the first time I transformed, I didn't attack anyone other than those people from the gang." Logan explained.

"Yeah… I'm not going to play with my safety. By chance, do you know where Daphne stays, she might have more of this stuff." Castiel had no plans in putting himself in danger.

He wanted to make sure they restricted Logan when the next full moon occurs. Also, he would love to see where the school beauty stays. Adding her present mysteriousness to it, he was very curious.

"I have no idea." Logan shook his head when he heard his friend's reply.

"How do we handle my emotions?" He decided to let go of the issue of the wolfsbane. Maybe it was for the better.

"I'll have to chain you before trying it out." Castiel said.

"You're just crazy." Logan turned to the internet. From Castiel's expression, he was sure that he was about to do some things that would irritate him.

During the blood moon, he knew even though the blood moon was one of the causes of his transformation, it wasn't the only reason. He lost his temper when he was almost attacked by Jack, the captain of the football team.

It has been one week since the incident, but the people from the football team had not given him any problems, probably because of how easy it was for him to leave their encirclement.

Looking through the internet, there were a few ways to control his anger. And the one he was going with was to think about what made him happy. What else could it be if not his little sister? Whenever he thought of her he was extremely happy, so he planned to use that.

He told Castiel about it and he thought it wasn't a bad idea as well. It was already the weekend, and the duo still had a lot of research to do.

Castiel wanted to search for where he could get wolfsbane around. It was a very rare plant, so he wasn't too certain if he could find it.

Logan's father was not around, as usual, so he went over to play with Stephanie. Unfortunately, she chased him away because she was watching a movie which he had zero interest in.

Time slowly went by, and day by day, the day of the full moon was getting closer. Even after over two weeks, Daphne was still nowhere to be seen. She had been missing from school as well.

There had been no significant incident in the town other than a few gangs fighting. It was quite startling that a small town like this would be home to multiple gangs.

A few days later, it was the day of the full moon. Well, according to how the duo calculated it, this was the day.

Castiel had been able to find a bunker in an abandoned building not too far from their school. It was tightly secured, and it even had what looked like a cell inside.

Logan told his father he would be sleeping over at Castiel's place that day which his father agreed to. After getting confirmation from his father, the duo left.

It was currently the end of the year, so they wouldn't be going to school for some time. There has been no way to contact Daphne, and unfortunately for Castiel, he was unable to get his hands on any wolfsbane.

The ones Daphne left were already almost dead. He even found it surprising that it wasn't completely dead yet.

'It should have some effect, I hope.' He thought internally.

Before Logan came, he had already prepared the place. Logan would be chained inside the cell, while he would stand outside. If Logan manages to break through chains, before he is able to break through the cell, then he would have sufficient time to escape.
