3rd Person's Pov
Avyanna waited on the balcony a little longer, looking at the bright shining moon with a smile plastered on her lips.
The wind breeze coldly touched Avyanna's bare skin, giving her shivers.
"You looked so in love, my lady."
Avyanna was startled by the sudden appearance of the tower master, leaning on a tree.
"Jeez! I almost had a heart attack." Avyanna said. "Anyways, why are you here?"
"Just looking around the area." He answered boredly.
"Anything to report, then?"
"Yeah, be careful on your hunt tomorrow. The place is surrounded." He warned with furrowed brows.
"Hey." Avyanna suddenly called.
"What?" The tower master raised a brow.
"Your appearance. Those black hairs and purple eyes, are they their original color?" She asked.
"Yeah. Is there a problem?"
"Nothing." 'Just the same as my original, that is.'
"The Sun and Moon of the Empire have arrived."
As soon as Avyanna heard that announcement, she waved at the tower master.
"I'll get going."
She entered the tent and blended with the people.
The rulers made some speeches before the ball finally started. People are chatting in groups.
Avyanna seemed out of place, so she went on the side.
People, on the other hand, appear to enjoy making her the subject of their discussions.
She's been lowkey ever since she transmigrated, but her looks seem to be the problem. She's too beautiful not to be noticed.
Yes. That's how confident she is in the appearance of the body she's in.
Her eyes looked for her sunset, which she easily spotted. She gave a smile to Yelena, but the other party was indifferent.
Yelena gave her a sharp glare that she always gave in the past. Instead of feeling upset. Rather, Avyanna bit her finger with a coy smile.
"Adorably seductive, My sunset." She whispered.
'So, this is the start, huh?'
"What are you looking at?!" Yelena furiously asked, pointing at her.
"Am I, my lady?" She innocently asked.
"Oh my. What happened?"
"Just the day before, they were so close."
"Even yesterday."
There it is. Gossips. This kind of drama is great for those nobles who only come to satisfy themselves.
"Oh my." Even the Empress also looked forward to seeing what to see. Just yesterday, they seemed to get along.
Yelena walked over to her and she just stood still, waiting for the latter to come to her.
'My Little Sunset is such a great actress.'
"Won't you back down?!" Yelena furiously asked.
She leaned closer to Yelena.
"Make me, my lady." She whispered.
Yelena's face flushed red, and she couldn't stop her hands from rising and slapping Avyanna, which made her fall.
'Her slap's as strong as the night before. But, I want to tease her more.'
Avyanna raised her head, holding the cheek where she was slapped.
"You're so bad, Lady Yelena, it makes me want you more."
Yelena's face became even redder. Looking at Avyanna's reaction and listening to her words, gave her tickles in her stomach.
'Seriously, this woman!'
"Stop acting pitiful and stand up!" She ordered.
"Yelena!"
Roshan came over and held back Yelena.
Avyanna was frozen in her position when Yelena suddenly wrapped her arms around Roshan's.
"What—"
"Roshan, don't protect that woman anymore! She deserves it!" Yelena painfully glares at Avyanna.
Avyanna saw this, and although it felt hurtful, she was somehow relieved, a little.
"Let's go." Yelena pulled Roshan, but she secretly looked back to Avyanna.
'Leave.' She mumbled.
It was embarrassing, but Avyanna stood up with a low head and walked out of the tent.
"Looks like you got betrayed."
Avyanna's ears twitched at hearing those words. She turns her head to the person who has a wicked smile on her lips.
"Saintess." She whispered.
"Indeed, I am." The woman proudly said.
"I got betrayed indeed. But you'll be destroyed sooner." She smirked.
"You..!"
"I heard all saints have purple eyes. Your eyes are red as a demon should." Avyanna snorts. "Especially for someone who was resurrected from the dead."
"You really..! You should be grateful to me! I made Avyanna look like that. Instead of me... you're the demon here!" Rhis insisted.
"No. You are." Avyanna's brow furrowed. "As someone making a contract with demons."
She turned her back on the woman and walked away.
"You better watch your back."
"Heh. You're the one who should watch your back." The woman laughed before she entered the tent.
Avyanna leans on the nearest tree. She touched her head, but then continued to walk back to her tent. As soon as she entered, she felt like falling down.
"My Lady?"
Diane, who was inside the tent, caught her before she fell down. Diane felt the heavy breathing of her mistress and her hot temperature.
"My lady! You're burning up!"
Diane brought Avyanna to the bed.
"My lady? My lady, can you hear me?"
Avyanna was panting desperately.
Diane is already panicking. Just what the hell is happening?
"Miss??"
A man enters the tent. He's a stunning man. That red hair and purple eyes reminded her of Rezia.
"Y-you are?" Diane looked stunned.
"A mage instructor, Aster." The man answered. "Get away from there!"
The man grabbed Diane and pulled her away from Avyanna.
"Why..."
"Her mana is leaking again. It's uncontrollable and it's getting worse. If one is exposed to such mana, they can have a certain death."
The man ran to Avyanna and immediately chanted a spell on Avyanna's chest. A magic circle appeared and it took a while for the mana to be controlled.
"My lady..." Diane's very worried about her mistress' condition.
"What the fvck is this?" Aster asked.
'This isn't just a normal mana leak. The body is already weak. It was like, her body and her soul weren't a match.'
Without them knowing, it had already created a commotion outside the tent.
Nobles started gossiping from the outside, and it started to get noisy, too.
"Sir.." Diane called.
"Let her rest for a moment. Call for me once she wakes up. I'll handle the commotion outside." Aster said.
"T-thank you, sir."
Aster gave her a smile.
"Just doing my job." He said and walked out.
As soon as the commotion was over, it became quiet.
"Avy!"
The tent opened up and there was Yelena. She is panicking and anxious. She's been looking for a way to come inside.
"Lady Royal—"
"How is she?" She immediately asked.
"T-the mage said that she's already stable and only needs rest." Diane answered politely.
Yelena felt relieved.
She touched Avyanna's forehead and gently caressed her. She held one of Avyanna's hands and squeezed it. She's trembling with anxiety.
"Stop making me worry so suddenly."
'I thought I was about to lose you again.'
The Tower Master's name is Aster.
