"I am Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan" said the man as he introduced himself and Wura was left utterly speechless.
"Oh good Lord of the heavens, what manner of name is that??" said Wura out loud as she could not control herself.
She could not imagine having such a long sort of name like that, she really pitied him, she was sure that if he was required to sign his name on a piece of parchment, one would not be enough.
Merodachbaladan was surprised even though he did not show it, many people would rather say that his name was an interesting one, or that it was unique, while they not to subtly made jest of it in their hearts, and yet this woman was so honest as to say her true thoughts on his name, and he appreciated that.
"Did your father not consider how much attention your name would bring you?" asked Wura.
"I am sure that he did not my princess" said Merodachbaladan as he answered her politely.
"Oh dear heavens" said Wura, she could not imagine how her life would be if she had such a long name, at this point in time she was grateful to her parents for giving her such a short name.
"May I call you Mero for short?" asked Wura as she looked at him.
"As you wish my princess" said Mero as he smiled.
"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled at him.
"Sir Mero, I am Lady Diwura Lily Scot" said Wura as she introduced herself to Mero.
"Soon to be Wyverdale" said Liam to himself as he smiled.
"It is a pleasure to meet you my Princess" said Mero.
"Likewise" said Wura as she smiled.
"Liam, how about we get to know her highness better?" asked Luc as he smiled and he looked at Liam.
"That is a good idea Luc" said Liam.
"However not this time, we have somewhere else to be" said Liam as he declined,
"We do??" asked Wura as she wondered what he possible still had for her.
"Yes, we do" said Liam.
"Now If you would excuse us boys, we will be taking our leave now" said Liam as he held Wura's arm.
"Alright then, see you later, your highness" said the boys as the waved.
"Mero we will meet later" said Liam as he looked at Mero.
"Yes" said Mero as he nodded.
"Goodbye Princess, it was a pleasure to meet you" said all the men except for Elihu who was still probably bitter.
"And the same to you" said Wura as she smiled, before Liam walked her and him out.
"Where are we going?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam as he let go of her hand, as they entered back into the warm castle.
"We will have dinner with my father tonight" said Liam as he said it like it was a statement and not a question.
"No, we cannot" said Wura as she stopped walking, she was not prepared for this news at all.
"Why not?" asked Liam as he stopped and turned to look at her.
"Are you afraid?" asked Liam as he smiled and he walked towards Wura.
Afraid?? Yes, yes she was, of course she was, Wura was afraid things were moving too swiftly and every time she thought that she could rest and breathe, she was faced with something even much more worse, but she was not going to let Liam know that she was having a tough time adjusting.
"No, of course not" said Wura curtly.
"You should have informed me, so I could bring a gift for his majesty" said Wura.
"Well there is no need for a gift, you are the best one" said Liam and Wura looked away.
Liam knew that she was scared, meeting his father was a big step in their relationship, and it confirmed that things were very serious between them, and if Wura did not want to meet him, it meant that she did not want to marry him.
But knowing her, she would not let go of her pride, and admit that for once in her life she was afraid, but well if she did not say it, then Liam would not say a word either.
"Now come, I really want you to meet my father... my dear" said Liam as he smiled at her and Wura scoffed.
"Only my husband is permitted to call me such" said Wura as she folded her arms over her chest.
"But I am your future husband" said Liam, in fact their wedding was in less than ten days.
"Exactly your highness!" said Wura.
"That is the important word there... future" said Wura.
"You are not my husband yet" said Wura as she eyed Liam.
"Oh I see" said Liam.
"So why do we not change that and get married right now" said Liam as he moved closer to her and Wura moved back.
"Why do we not just forget the formalities and marry" he said as Wura was backed up against the wall.
"Umm... Ummm" said Wura as she looked around, Liam had blocked her.
"Your highness, I am not that kind of woman" she said as she became confident once again.
"You are still yet to pay bride price, and yet you ask me to marry you illegally" said Wura as she scoffed.
"Your highness, you are too flagrant" said Wura.
Liam backed away, she spoke the truth, this woman always seemed to have the exact right words to back him up in a corner, she was right, he was yet to pay her bride price, which was something he had been thinking of as of late.
"You are right Lady Diwura" said Liam.
"I am sorry if I have offended you" said Liam.
"Hmph" said Wura.
"I will truly sort out your bride price soon" said Liam.
"As I said I am not an easy woman, my bride price, must be above all others" she said as an attempt to discourage him and send him off.
"Of course you are" he said as he laughed.
"But come now, let us go" said Liam as he continued to walk, and Wura walked right behind him.
"He is so irritating" said Wura to herself as she scoffed at him, Liam smiled, he knew that she was cursing him in her mind and it was extremely cute to him.
