"Your Highness we have arrived" said the coachman as he turned to look back.
"Shall I go and call the lady?" asked the coachman.
"No that is alright" said Liam.
"I will go call for the lady myself" said Liam.
"Alright then your Highness" said Liam as he got off the carriage and he walked to the Scot's residence door and he knocked on it.
"Good Morrow your highness" said Alessia as she opened the door and she saw that it was Liam there.
"Good Morrow, I am searching for Lady Diwura" said Liam.
"Please come in your highness, Lady Diwura is currently getting ready" said Alessia.
"Thank you" said Liam as he stepped into the house.
"You may wait for Lady Wura in the drawing room" said Alessia as she walked Liam to the drawing room.
"Alright then" said Liam as he sat down.
"I will go and inform her that you have arrived" said Alessia.
"Thank you" said Liam.
"It is my pleasure your highness" said Alessia as she bowed and she left.
...
"Wura the Prince is here" said Alessia as she entered Wura's room after knocking.
"He is here already??" asked Wura in shock.
"Why did he come so quickly??" asked Wura.
"I can promise you that it is because he cannot wait to see you, my beautiful niece" said Tessa.
"Aunt you are not helping the matter at all" said Wura as she sighed.
"Oh hush my dear, you are just nervous" said Tessa.
"Now there" said Tessa as she stood up, she had finished smoothing the hem of Wura's supposedly simple dress, for a woman in her state, she really was ready to go low just for her niece.
"Now my dear, you cannot keep his highness waiting, so go" said Tessa.
"I wish the circumstances were different" said Wura as she smiled, her Aunt really was a darling, and she wished that she could at least be happy to be treated like this, if only she was going out with a man she truly loved.
"Do not say that now my dear, I do not want to cry" said Tessa as she quickly stopped the tear dropping from her eye.
"And I do not want you to cry either Aunt" said Wura.
"Oh it is definitely the baby, she is making me so emotional" said Tessa.
"Aunt I have not left yet" said Wura as she laughed.
"I know, but I am getting ready for you to" said Tessa.
"Anyway, enough of this" said Tessa.
"You cannot keep his Highness waiting, so go" said Tessa as she smiled.
"I love you Aunt" said Wura as she smiled.
"And so do I my dear" said Tessa as she smiled back.
...
"Good Morrow your highness, I am sorry if I kept you waiting for long" said Wura as she entered the drawing room and she curtsied with her head bowed down.
As Liam looked up, he was surprised, he could not lie to himself, Wura was the most beautiful maiden he had ever had the chance of setting his eyes on.
Wura wore a pink collared dress with a red ribboned corset on the outside of her dress, the dress was not too flowy or poofy, it was a half circle skirt, the sleeves of the dress were bishop sleeves and they fitted her arms perfectly.
Wura's hair was lightly packed together in the back with a red ribbon that matched the corset of her dress.
"Good Morrow Lady Wura" said Liam as he snapped out of his thoughts.
"I was not waiting for long" he said.
"Even though I will wait for how long it takes for you" he said to himself.
"Liam what are you even spewing out of your mouth??" asked Liam as he scolded himself, what was he even saying??
"That is good your highness" said Wura.
"Yes" said Liam.
"Shall we?" he asked as he looked at her.
"Of course" said Wura as she grabbed her coat off the rack, and she wore it.
"It is a shame" said Liam as he looked at Wura.
"What is a shame your highness?" asked Wura.
"Nothing" said Liam.
"Alright your Highness??" said Wura, she had now added that the prince was a bit crazy to the list of things she despised about him.
Wura and Liam walked out the door, and they made their way to the carriage that was waiting for them.
Liam helped Wura into the carriage, she sat across him, while Liam looked out the window as he began to move.
"You Highness, If I may ask where are we going?" asked Wura as she was curious, she did not know where this man was taking her at all.
"To the blacksmiths" replied Liam casually.
"Why are we going there your highness?" asked Wura as she was utterly perplexed, what did going to the blacksmiths have to do with their sham of a marriage? If taking her to the blacksmiths was his was of courting her, then he was truly odd.
"You will see" said Liam as he said nothing more.
"I see your highness" said Wura.|
"Tell my something Lady Diwura" said Liam as he broke the uncomfortable silence between them, Liam had never had to hold a conversation with a maiden before, they were usually always the ones yapping and going on and on, he had experienced a lot of that during the war, when he and his men had saved innocent people from the war.
"What do you think of marrying during the winter?" asked Liam
"Seeing as in the Kingdom the popular belief of marriage during winter raises many concerns" said Liam as he wanted to know Liam's opinion on the matter, he had been told too many times that Marriage during the winter was a sign of bad luck.
It was said that bad luck would follow the couple into their matrimonial home, but he did not believe in such nonsense, he found them mere old tales.
"Well Your highness, folklore are alive because of people's blind belief in them" replied Wura.
"I personally believe that your own luck, whether bad or good, depends on what you yourself have done to create such luck" said Wura.
"Do you not think so your Majesty?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam seriously.
"Right you are Lady Diwura, right you are" said Liam as he smiled at her, she and him had the same thoughts, she did not care for old wives' tales.
There it was again, his bright smile that made Wura rethink her thoughts towards him, Wura could not handle his smile, so she forced herself to look away, she was sure that she would get sucked into all his supposed charm if she was not careful.
"Lady Diwura, may I ask your age?" asked Liam, he wanted to get to know more about her, all he knew right now was that she was a stubborn, strong willed woman, who happened to be the daughter of one of the Dukes, and she seemed to dislike him.
"I am eighteen years of age your highness" replied Wura.
"And may I know your age?" asked Wura, she too was curious of his age, she knew absolutely nothing about him at all.
"I am twenty three" said Liam.
"I see" said Wura, he looked rather young for twenty three.
"So she is five years younger than me" said Liam to himself, she was very young, it would be understandable, if she did not want to go on with their plans, she could have just said the word and this would all end, as he earlier said he would wait for her.
"Your Highness we have arrived at the blacksmiths" called the coachman as the carriage came to a halt.
"Let us go" said Liam as he came down from the carriage and he helped Wura down.
Wura could not help but doubt Liam, just what in the heavens were they doing here, needless of her disbelief she followed him anyway, as they walked into the blacksmiths workshop.
The heat was intense, Wura felt like she was going to start to sweat, the workshop was very hot, and an inferno was burning along.
"Your Highness I am honoured to have you in my workshop today" came the voice of a man as he seemed to be cleaning some tools.
He was very hairy, he had a beard, and he looked like the heat did not bother him at all, Wura guessed that he was used to it, since he was here for most of his days.
"The pleasure if all mine" said Liam as he smiled.
"I would bow your highness but the floor is extremely untidy" said the blacksmith.
"It is no problem" said Liam as he smiled.
"Ahh this must be the lady" said the blacksmith as his eyes went to Wura.
"Welcome my princess, it is an honour to meet you" said the man as he smiled.
"I am honoured, but I am not the princes..." said Wura as she smiled and Liam looked at her, which made her stop talking.
"Are the materials I asked for ready?" asked Liam as he looked back at the blacksmith.
"Yes Your highness, the ring forging process is ready to begin as soon as you determine" said the blacksmith happily.
"Perfect" said Liam as he smiled.
"Wait, wait what??" asked Wura in shock, did she hear right?? did the blacksmith just say ring forging???
