After a few hours Amara finally finished up packing and she was now lying on the bed and staring up at the ceiling. She kept asking herself the same question over and over again 'Is this what I really want?', a part of her wanted her to leave but a part of her didn't want her to leave, but it didn't matter now because what's done is done and there is no turning back now from all of this. As she was drowning in her thoughts Ian entered the room, she sat up. "Hey." He said, sitting down on the bed next to her. "Hey." She replied. "here take this with you, don't open it yet, I'll tell you when to open it, but don't lose it always keep it with you." He said handing her a small wooden block. "What's in it?" Amara asked him. "I can't tell you but it's nothing you should worry about... For now." He said looking down. "Ar you okay?" Amara asked him. "Yeah." He replied, not too sure himself of his answer. "You don't look like you are okay." Amara said. "Let's just forget about it... I found a therapist for you, I know that I've caused you pain both physically and mentally and I'm willing to make it up to you anyway possible. So I found a therapist for you, he will help you heal if possible." He said. "Okay, thanks, I really appreciate it. On what time will I be leaving tomorrow?"Amara asked him."8:30am, I'll wake you up if you don't." He said. "Don't worry I'll try to wake up early tomorrow." She said with a smile on her face. "Amara, do you want to get a divorce?" Ian asked him. That was a question Amara wasn't expecting and she didn't have an answer to that question. She thought that maybe it is best for them to get a divorce. "Yeah, do you?" She asked him. "if you want it then my opinion doesn't matter." He said. "Okay." She said. "It's already late now you should go to sleep, you need a lot of rest it's going to be a long day for you tomorrow." He said. "Alright goodnight." She said. "Goodnight." He said. And after that Amara went to sleep.
The next morning Amara woke up to the sound birds chirping on her window, she looked at the clock and it was 6am and the sun was still rising. She yawned stretching her body and the she got off from the bed and then she went into the the bathroom to take her last shower in Ian's house, the thought of leaving made her nervous, and she didn't know why, she thought that leaving would make her happy but it just made her nervous. She took deep breaths telling herself that it's going to be okay and that she needs this, it's what she had always wanted, freedom.
After taking a shower she went downstairs into the dining hall, where she found Ian sitting down waiting for her. She decided to seat down next to him. "Good morning."Amara said."Morning, did you sleep well?" Ian asked her. "Yeah, I slept well." She said. "The butler will put all your luggage in the car, I'll go with you to the airport to make sure that you get on the private jet safely." He said. "Okay, thank you." She said. "Here, sign this." Ian said handing her some papers. "What's this?"Amara asked him."Divorce papers, I have already finalised everything and all you have to do is just sign them and you will no longer be Mrs Royce, you'll be miss Smith. And remember you will not be Sabrina in Paris but you'll be Amara, I don't want people to know about our divorce because if they do, the will hurt so that we don't get back together again." He said. "I have assigned some bodyguards that will make sure to keep you safe, because I heard that the Rodriguez are up to no good, so if they see you they won't ask you who you are they will just think that you are Sabrina and then they will kill you." He said. "Why would they kill me?" Amara asked him. "Our world is more complicated than you think, people will kill you just to have a certain position in life." Ian said. "Yeah I know that, but I didn't know that the Rodriguez were, that kind of people, it doesn't actually suit them." Amara said. "Eyes can deceive you sometimes." Ian said. Yeah I know. "Okay eat up, I don't want you to be late." Ian said. And Amara ate the breakfast that was on the table.
Amara was now done eating and it was time for her to leave. "Come on, let's go." Ian said, Amara walked out of the house. And then she got into the black limo that was waiting for her outside. Then Ianentered too. "Are you ready?" Ian asked her, was she ready, she didn't know the answer to that question but isn't yes supposed to be the answer, but she found it hard to say the words so she just nodded her head, because her throat seemed too betray her. Then the driver started driving the car. Amara looked outside of the window, watching the swaying trees tall trees as the car moved past them, the thought of leaving this place scared her. The trees were more beautiful than ever today, with the morning sun shining on them, today's weather was calm, there were no clouds no rain, just clear sky and sunshine. She wondered what the weather was like in Paris since now it was December. It was the 20th of December and that made her realize that she would probably be spending this year's Christmas alone. But she told herself that it was better than celebrating it with the person that caused to pain both mentally and physically. So she told herself many times in her head that it was all for a good course. She watched as they reached the scary dark part of the forest, even in a beautiful day like this, thus part of the forest decided to look dark and scary like it always did and Amara didn't understand why, she thought that maybe there were some lost souls in this forest. The trees didn't look lively this side, they looked dark and gloomy it felt as if there was something that was always staring at you. "Don't look at this trees for too long, it's not safe.", He said and Amara quickly looked away from the trees. "Okay." Amara said. Looking at this handsome creature that was sitting next to her, Ian looked calm today. It made Amara wonder what their relationship would be like if he wasn't so cold hearted, maybe better or maybe they wouldn't have met at all. She sighed, but this maybe was the last time they would sit in the same car like this.
