"Are you serious?" Amara asked. It was 2pm and Amara was seating outside in the garden when Ian called her disturbing her peace. "Yes I'm serious." Ian said. "You can't be? I thought that I came here to be away from you. To have a live alone, and you are telling me that you are coming?"Amara asked him, she was furious. The last thing that she wanted right now was to see Ian's face."Look I have to." Ian said. "What do you mean, you have to?" Amara asked. "I'll tell you everything when I get there okay." He said. "Why can't you tell me now?" She asked. "Just be patient okay... I'll be leaving tomorrow morning." He said. "Patience is the last thing that I have, so you better tell me now or you won't find me here." She said. "Where are you going to go to if you leave?" He asked. "That is non of your concern. Tell me why you want to come here all of the sudden." She said. "Amara, I'll talk to you later okay, I gotta go." Ian hung up the phone. Amara sighed in frustration, she really didn't want to see him not today not tomorrow not ever.
2 hours earlier
Ian was sitting in his office doing some paper work when someone knocked on his office door. "Come in." Ian said. And a man wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt, black jeans and blue Nike snickers walked in. He had a bald head, thin pink lips, Hazel eyes and a narrow nose. His skin was pale like he was a dead person. He walked closer to Ian's desk, Ian watched as he walked closer to him. He had a smile on his face. He sat down on the leather chair that was in front of Ian's desk. "What do you want?" Ian asked the man who was sitting in front of him with a smile on his face. "Is that how you talk to me, brother?" He said. And Ian gave him an annoyed look. "I don't remember ever having a brother like you." Ian said. "Come on. You still can't be mad at me. Oh by the way I heard that you've gotten married again, what's the beauty's name and how did you trick her into marrying you?" He asked him. "Chad I don't have time for your nonsense just tell me what it is that you want."Ian said. He was starting to lose the patience that he didn't even have. "Patience brother. I just wanted to ask you why you kept you didn't even tell me you got married again." Chad said. "Do I look like I was born last night? I know that that is not why you are here, so tell me why you are here or else I'm going to rip your face apart and feed you to the wolves, do I make myself clear? Now start talking." Ian said. "Jeez, still the same Ian that I know, nothing has changed. You know I thought that your current wife was going to change you, you know since the previous ones failed to. I really hoped that this one would change you, considering where she came from and the fact that you are finally going to be a father. "He said with a smile on his face. Ian looked at him in shock, because he does not remember telling Chad anything or anyone telling him anything. "Don't look at me like that of course I know. And I know what Charles wants to know so badly, how and why... Amara marriage you, the poor girl had no choice." Chad said. "What do you want Chad?" Ian asked him. "Simple, I want the girl." Chad said. "Amara?" Ian asked. "Yes." Chad said. "In your dreams." Ian said. "Fine don't give me what I want. Let me tell you something, if I can't have her the no one can't. Oh by the way I know where she is now and well I'm thinking of paying her a visit." Chad said. "Chad, stop it okay. Tell me what do you want?"Ian asked. "I want Amara. Besides she's not even happy with you." Chad said. "Whether she is happy with me or not that is non of your concern. There is no way in hell I'm giving her to you." Ian said. Chad stood up. "Ian you should no better that I'm not the kind of man that takes no for an answer and I would do absolutely anything to get what I want. Have a nice day." Chad said walking out of the office and leaving ian alone. He ran his hands through his hair in frustration. He did not want anyone to take what was his, especially Chad, his half brother.
Chad was Lacey's son whom she gave up fir adoption when he was born. He was a mistake that she never even dared to look at or talk about. Five years after they git married Charles went on a business trip for three years. Lacey went out with her friends and she got drunk, she ended up doing something that she never even dreamed of doing. She slept with another man while she was drunk and then she later on found out that she was pregnant with the man's child. To not let Charles find out after giving birth to Chad she gave him up fir adoption and she made sure that nobody knew about this because she was afraid of her marriage ending. Even till this day nobody knows that Chad is her son. Ian is the only one who knows about his existence and he only found out 4 years ago. He had known Chad before that because they were childhood friends but he had no idea that he was his half brother. After finding out he swore not to tell anyone ever. Because it would harm his family's name and his enemies would find a way to make this news the downfall of the Royce family and that's the last thing that Ian wanted so he decided to not tell anyone about it.
It was 6pm and Amara was sitting g in the living room watching TV. The therapist had just left. If she said that this first session with the therapist wasn't good for her then she would be lying. Her therapist was a calm and collected woman. Even her voice could calm a person down. The way she talked could make someone feel better, she didn't ask questions that made her uncomfortable. She had asked Amara questions in her own way so that she would be able to answer them without feeling uncomfortable. She was magic herself. Amara couldn't wait for her next session with her which was next week Tuesday. It would always happen like that. Every week Tuesday. Amara hoped that it would be like that every Tuesday. But now what was annoying her the most was the fact that ian was coming and she dud not know why. She just didn't want him to come, she wanted some peace and quiet without him near her. She already had plans but now that he was coming she had no choice but to cancel it all.
