"Look Mr Chad I really don't know what you are talking about, maybe you've come to the wrong person or wrong place. Please leave." Amara said trying to sound calm. She didn't know this person and she didn't know what his motives were either so she did not want to associate herself with him."Don't pretend miss Smith, I can save you from all this and bring you and your parents justice." He said walking closer to Amara and Amara took a step back not even wanting to stand closer to him. "Look, I really don't have time for this please leave." Amara said. "Is it Ian that you are afraid of? Don't worry he won't hurt you, if you agree to let me help you and stay by your side then he won't hurt you just let me help you miss." He said. "Please leave,like I said I don't know what it is that you are talking about." Amara said walking away and Chad grabbed her hand stopping her. "What are you doing!? Let go if me you moron!" Amara shouted. "Shhh, keep your voice down or else I'll get into trouble." He said. "if you don't want to get into trouble then it's best that you leave before I scream for help." Amara said staring at him. "Okay fine, but I will come back." He said letting go of her hand and then he walked away.
After he had left Amara let out a sigh. She didn't know whether she was relieved that he had left or what. But she just wondered who he was or how he knew about her. She decided to go back into the house to sleep since it was late already.
The next morning Amara woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. "Who is it?" She asked in a sleepy voice. "It is me Carlos, master Ian is on the phone and he would like to talk to you." Carlos said. Amara groaned rolling her eyes. "Come in." She said. There was no point in ignoring him now because he was coming anyway. Carlos entered the room and he gave Amara the phone and she gave Carlos a look telling him to leave and he left. "Yes what is it?" Amara asked seating up from the bed. "How are you doing Amara?"Ian asked."Stop with the hi and hellos, just tell me what it is that you want. How I'm doing is non of your business." Amara said. Ian sighed. "I just wanted to check on you, that's all." Ian said. "I'm breathing and I'm talking so goodbye." Amara said. "Amara wait... I heard that Chad came to see you last night." Ian said. "You know him?" she asked. "Yeah... What did he tell you?"he asked."How are you guys related, is he your business rival, enemy or an old friend of yours?" she asked. "I can't tell you everything over the phone I'll tell you as soon as I get there. Just tell me what he told you." He asked. "I can't tell you anything over the phone I'll tell you when you get here, it's still 6am and I'm planning on sleeping in today." Amara said. "Okay, I'll see you later then." Ian said and Amara hung up the phone without even saying goodbye, she didn't feel the need to do so.
"Stop trying once she gives birth, take the kid and you guys won't have anything to do with each other." Louise said. Louise was Ian's personal assistant. "She's carrying twins."Ian said, and Louise's jaw dropped."Twins, she's carrying twins!! What are you going to do boss!"Louise shouted dramatically." I want to be fair to her so she'll have one and I'll take the other one. I'm sure that she is going to agree with me. "Ian said."What If she was carrying one child then what were you going to do." Louise asked. "I don't know I would figure things out, I would just have to make her a offer that she could never refuse." Ian said. "What offer?" Louise asked. "Don't you have work to do Louise? Anyway I have a flight to catch in two hours." He said. "Okay boss I'll get back to work, so am I coming with you?" He asked hoping that he would come with him and finally meet Amara. "Yes." He said. "Yayy thank you boss, I'll get back to work now." He said walking out of Ian's office. Ian sighed running his hand in his hair. 'Just be patient, it will all be over soon.' he said to himself.
"Carlos, what's for breakfast today?"Amara asked walking into the dining hall."cinnamon French toast , juice and some tea if you want some." He said. "OH okay, I think that I'll have some juice I'm not a fan of tea." Amara said. "Very well then." He said. Amara sat down on the chair and she started eating her breakfast and then her phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and it was an unknown number but she answered it anyway. "Hello baby girl did you miss me?" A voice said. And Amara instantly recognized it. It was the same person that had called heron the day that shewnt to the cemetery with her mother. "Wh-what do you want and who are you?" Amara asked in a shaking voice. "What's the rush baby girl, I just want to tell you that I'm not gone I'm still around and I'm watching you. Or by the way cinnamon french toast is my favorite I love it, and I like it better with that orange juice that you are going to drink." the person said."You know me, and I know you. You and I are going to sit diwn and talk someday and you won't even realize that it is me because you know me. I really admire Ian's effort of trying to find me. He was so close but I'm way smarter than him so I'll always find a way to throw him off his game. Have a good day, see you soon. "Then the person hung up. Amara could feel tears starting to fall from her eyes, this was just the beginning of her nightmare.
