Artemis P.O.V
When we got to the mall Cortney insisted that I buy atleast one thing from every store even though I told her I didn't have much money and only came here to buy a few things which resulted in her buying me stuff. Not that I mind.
I walked out of the store with five shopping bags laughing with Cortney. "So Artemis we should hangout tomorrow." Yeah, I told her my actual name because I got tired of her calling me Ria and try to make nicknames out of it.
"I don't know. If I'm not busy I'll hangout with you tomorrow." I say. And by that I mean if I can sneak out again.
"That's ok. If you're have nothing to do we can watch a movie and have a sleepover with me and a few of my other friends." She said.
"I'll think about it." I said getting in the passenger seat of her car.
After talking about ourselves where she mostly did the talking, we exchanged numbers and Cortney dropped me off at the pack house she picked me up from. I walked though the door with my shopping bags and a million dollar smile on my face only to see a angry alpha right as I stepped in.
'Shit.' I thought to myself. "Hi. " I said smiling nervously.
"You went out even though I clearly stated that I would bring you later, why?" He asked angrily. I resisted from scoffing and rolling ,y eyes
"I don't know because you said not to and I have a problem with authorities and would you really want to walk around a store watching me pick out menstrual products?" I asked dropping my bogs on the ground before crossing my arms over my chest.
He paused for a second. "Oh. Also Cortney, you know her? Yeah she asked if I could have a sleepover at her place and I'm going because I need friends so if you were gonna say no I don't care." I added quickly.
"Fine." He said walking away. "Oh, and I'm expecting someone here tomorrow." I said. "She's a two year old and she looks like a mini me." I shouted after him.
'Rude.' I thought when I heard the door slam. 'Didn't even think about helping me with my bags. Where's chivalry?'
Sighing I struggled up to my room with my bags complaining all the way about that jackass that's supposed to be my mate. I finally got to my room but I was so frustrated and angry that I slammed the door so hard it almost fell off it's hinges.
"I need a run to let off this anger." I said to myself to which Ria agreed. I quietly slipped outside and went into the woods. I went behind a tree and took off my clothes. I shifted and started my run.
'How dare he treat me like this?' I thought angrily. 'I don't even want to be here. He's the one who forced me to stay and now he has the nerve to be angry?' Not paying attention to where I'm going I suddenly bumped into something and then next thing I know I'm flying towards a tree. I slammed into the tree and quickly jumped up shaking my head.
Even more angry than before I look up and saw a scrawny rouge. He ran towards me and swung his paw at me aiming to claw at my chest. I quickly dodged and clawed him in the face. He lounged at me but I dodged just in time making him slam into a tree.
While he was still getting up I jumped on his back bitting into his neck. He growled and rolled over on me trying to get me off. Deciding that this was child's play and it was getting boring, I extended my claws and sliced his head off. I pushed him off me and started my run back towards the pack houses.
'Well that was a great way to let off some anger.' I said to Ria. 'I wonder how he got in the pack though. It didn't take long for me to kill him so how did he get though border patrol? Do you think he's working with the Mysticis?'
"I don't know but it is weird how he got through border patrol. Maybe he had some help." Ria said.
'Are you saying someone in this pack is working with the enemy?' I said. 'Now that's something.' Reaching my clothes I shifted back and putted on my clothes.
I walked back into the pack house only to see my dear mate, note the sarcasm, standing there. Again. When he saw me covered in blood his face went from angry to worried.
"Are you-" he started before I cut him off.
"I took care of a rouge problem for you. You're welcome." I said pushing past him and walking into my room.
I went to take a shower deciding to unpack my clothes later. I spent almost an hour taking a bath. After I finished my shower, I wrapped myself into a towel and walked out to get dressed only to see alpha Elijah sitting on my bed.
When he saw me in only a towel his eyes quickly shifted from black to brown to which I scoffed.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Oh, right. I just wanted to apologize for my behavior these past days." He said looking down at his hands.
"Really?" I said with hope in my voice. "I-" I said training off. He looked at me hopefully. Then I burst out laughing.
"Did you really think I was gonna forgive you just like that?" I asked after I sobered up. His face dropped. "Sorry to break it to yah hun but you're gonna have to try harder than that. Now if you would kindly get the hell out so I can change I'd appreciate it."
Getting up from my bed he asked, "So what do I have to do for you to forgive me?" I rolled my eyes at him.
"I don't know. Impress me or something." I said shoving him out the door. After that I got dressed and spent the night watching movies until I fell asleep.
