Artemis P.O.V
I woke up to the sun shining in my face. I rolled over only to see K.C. gone. I jumped up panicking. I ran around the pack house looking for her. I ran into the kitchen looking like a mad woman.
"Has anyone seen K.C.? I can't fin-" I stopped when I saw K.C. sitting there eating pancakes. I sighed in relief and went to sit beside her grabbing myself a plate. I don't care who made it as long as it's going in my belly.
"Mommy when are we going to visit auntie Rose and uncle Jeremy?" K.C. asked with her mouth full.
"Don't talk with your mouth full, honey, and auntie Rose and uncle Jeremy are pretty busy so we can't visit just yet." I lied wiping her mouth with a napkin.
"Otay mommy." She said shrugging. Just then Tessa and Courtney walking in the kitchen.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked Courtney and Tessa.
"One we like... we live in this pack and two we are...spending the day with you." Courtney said with an awkward laugh.
"Are you still not over what happened last night?" I asked.
"What happened last night?" Beta Cole asked walking in the kitchen. Their heads snapped to him in shock. Tessa opened then closed her mouth before looking to Courtney for support but she only looked at the floor.
"I told you guys I'm ok! I'm perfectly fine and I'm over it. It happens ok?" I said throwing my hands up.
"Did you kick someone ass mommy? She kicks ass a lot" K.C. said looking back at her plate.
"K.C! I told you not to say that word!" I scolded.
"Well did you?" Beta Cole asked.
"So what if I did? It's like kind normal on my end and plus th-"Suddenly it felt as if something was fighting to take over my body.
'Ria! What is wrong with you?!?' I asked her.
"I don't know what's happening. I can't control it."
"Are you ok Artemis?" I heard Cole asking. He held me by my shoulders turning me to look at him.
"What the fuck..." he whispered.
It felt as if my head was being ripped in half the more I tried to fight whatever it is I'm fighting. I gripped my head, falling to the ground. Suddenly I heard a frightening scream. It took me a moment to realize the screaming was coming from me.
"Artemis! What's happening to her?!?" I heard Elijah yell.
"Mommy!" K.C. screamed touching me. All the yelling was making my head hurt even more.
'RIA MAKE IT STOP!' I screamed at her
"I'm trying. I can't control it. It's too powerful. " She said. This is the first time she's ever sounded this panicked and vulnerable. I remembered K.C. was still holding on to me.
'She needs to get out here. What if I hurt her? I'd never forgive myself if that happened.' I thought to myself
"Get.... K.C. out of here." I managed to say. I felt whatever that thing was take over before I blacked out.
"What's wrong with her doc?" I heard someone ask.
"I'm not sure. Something like this has never happened before. Well not in our records." I heard the other person, who must be the doctor say. I tried opening my eyes but it felt like they weighed a million pounds, however a million pound feel and my head was pounding like a drum. I tried moving my hands next then suddenly I felt sparks on my hand.
"She just moved!" I heard Elijah say. I felt someone use their fingers to open my eye before a bright light flashed in my sight.
"She's waking up. Her eyes seem to be looking normal and so is everything else but from how you've explained things she might be having a slight headache." The doctor said still flashing the light in my eye making my head hurt even more.
"If you don't get that light out my fucking face you and I are gonna have a problem." I said lowly. The doctor turned of the light.
"As I said everything seems fine except for the headache. You might want to dim the room as well to help ease the headache." The doctor said collecting his stuff. "Alpha." he said bowing his head before walking out. Elijah
"How's you're head?" Elijah asked getting up to close the curtains.
"Eh, feels like a hangover." I said shrugging. Where's K.C.?" I asked Elijah sitting up in the bed.
"She's with Cortney and Tessa." He said eyeing me with an uncertain look.
"I feel normal so stop looking at me like that." I said rolling my eyes. That was a bad idea never roll you eyes when you have a headache.
After a moment of silence he asked, "Have you ever heard of someone being controlled by a witch or something else?"
"Yes I have but I thought witches stopped casting controlling spells a long time ago." I said.
"They did. Well that's what have been said for years. Have you met any witches that you might have angered?" He asked.
"I've never even met a witch in my life much less anger one." I said.
"I have suspicions that a witch might be controlling you." Elijah said.
"I'm not the one being controlled." I said looking at the closed curtains.
"What do you mean by that? Then how is all this happening?" He asked confused.
"I'm not the one being controlled, Ria is." I said making Ria shift in my head.
"How is that possible?" Elijah asked.
"I don't know. But it is." I said.
I just hope I don't hurt K.C. because whatever this is it might be dangerous.
3rd person P.O.V (a little bit before Artemis got controlled)
Elijah woke up and headed straight to his office to see if he could find anything relating to what's happening to Artemis. After hours of searching he finally found a book about witches and Gods controlling people.
Suddenly there was a scream that caused the hair on the back of his neck to stand. He rushed out to see Artemis on the floor holding her head.
"Artemis! What's happening to her?!?" He asked in panic noticing her once green eyes now a stone gray.
"I don't know she just started holding her head screaming." Cole said. "Mommy!" A frighted K.C. screamed running up to her. Elijah stepped forward just incase Artemis attacked her.
"Get.... K.C. out of here." Artemis said before her eyes turned pitch black.
"Get her out of here." Elijah said to Courtney and Tessa who hurried away with K.C.
Artemis looked around angrily as if she was looking for something or someone. Seeming to not find what she was looking for her shoulders relaxed a bit. Her gray eye darted to Elijah who squirmed at how much authority her gaze held. Then before anyone could register, she blacked out.
