Third person P.O.V
It's been a week now since that thing, whatever it was, controlled Artemis and she has been extremely cautious around K.C. Elijah has been in his office doing endless research to calm his anxious wolf when Cole came in.
"Have you found anything?" Cole asked. Elijah sighed while running his hand through his hair. "No. Do you think we should go to the witches?" He asked his best friend.
"I mean there's nothing else you can do but go to them." Cole said. After a moment of silence he said, "why hasn't she been accepted into the pack yet? She's still a rouge and no one but you, me and those two girls know about her. Where did you even find her?" Cole asked bombarding Elijah with questions.
He filled Cole in on what Artemis told me about the Mysticis creatures and the supposed upcoming war between them and the Blue moon pack.
"So the Blue moon pack is working with these witch like creatures that can destroy a pack in just minutes?" Cole questioned.
"That's what I was told." Elijah said shrugging.
"How did Artemis know about these things?" Cole said now suspicious. Elijah paused contemplating if he should tell his best friend his mate's secret.
"I think you should ask her yourself." Elijah said after a moment.
"When are you going to accept her into the pack?" Cole asked changing the subject.
"After we visit the witches." Elijah said.
Meanwhile, somewhere far from the Obscura luna pack, a man sat there in the shadows thinking of a plan to concur yet another pack. While deep in his thoughts he was approached by one of the Mysticis.
"The Blue moon pack has agreed to assist you." The unknown creature said.
"Fools." The man replied with a chuckle. "They really think they are of great help to me but they are just pawns in my game."
"After you help them concur the Obscura luna pack kill them all, male, female even the kids. Burn their houses to the ground, then I'll help you get back your king." The man said to the creature.
Soon all werewolves will bow to me.
Artemis P.O.V
I was in my room packing for the trip to the witches when K.C. ran into my room.
"Mommy are you going on a mission?" K.C. asked sitting on my bed.
"Something like that. You'll have to stay with Tessa and Courtney." I said. K.C. has been spending alot of time with Cortney and Tessa since the last time I was possessed and I feel guilty for jot being there for her as much but there's nothing I can do. I don't want to accidentallyhurt her.
"Otay." She said looking down at her feet. "Are you going away for long?"
"Just a few days. I'll be back before you know it." I said. Suddenly, she jumped off the bed and ran out the room. After a while she came back holding Bonnie.
"Here. You can take Bonnie with you. He always protects me when I go on trips but you can have him so he can protect you from the darkness." K.C. said whispering the last part. My eyes teared up a little as she placed the teddy bear in my hand.
"I'll make sure not to leave him." I said gently placing the bear in my bag and closing it. K.C. smiled and hugged me. I picked her up and kissed her head.
"How about we go get some ice-cream before I leave?" I said walking to the kitchen.
"And we can watch Frozen!" K.C. said. Frozen has been her favorite movie ever since she came across it when we were bored at home.
We were in the middle of the scene when Elsa was about to freeze Anna's heart when Cole came in and told me it was time to go. I sighed and kissed K.C. on the head one last time before following Cole outside.
"Wait before you got I need to ask you something." Cole said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"How do you know about the upcoming war and the Mysticis?" He asked. I sighed.
"Whatever I say now must stay confidential. You cannot tell anyone ok? Well you can but I'd kill you in the worst way possible. "
"Okay I won't tell anyone." He said rolling his eyes.
"I'm an assassin. I work for SOSA but before that my pack was destroyed by the Mysticis." I said.
"So you kill people for a living?" He ask.
"Something like that. I mean the pay is good." I said.
"How much do you get payed?" He asked coming closer to me.
"Well it depends on who it is. I mostly assassinate people of high ranking. If it's a gamma I get payed a couple hundred dollars." I said shrugging.
"Do you think you can put in a good word for me with your boss. Elijah doesn't pay me you know. He thinks I signed a work for free contract." Cole whispered to me giving Elijah, who was standing by the car, the side eye.
"What was that, Cole?" Elijah yelled from where he was.
"I said nothing." Cole said rolling his eyes making me chuckle.
"So I can't tell anyone what you just told me?" He asked turning his attention back to me.
"No. And if you do tell anyone I'll know and I'll torture you and cut your dick off." I said. Cole stared at me for a moment. "Well my lips are sealed." He said making a zipper motion over his lips then putting an imaginary key in his pocket.
"This is where my escort ends madam." Cole said with a dramatic bow when we finally reached the car with Elijah standing beside it.
"Thank you kind sir. Until next time." I said playing along.
"Ready?" Elijah asked after Cole walked away. I sighed.
"No, and I don't think I'll ever be but let's do this." I said getting in the car. Hopefully I can find out what's possessing me and I don't have to worry about hurting K.C.
