Artemis P.O.V
I woke up to a message from Jeremy telling me he's almost here then I went to take a long relaxing shower.
After coming out of the shower, I get dressed deciding to go stuff my face in the kitchen. When I got to the kitchen I searched through the cabinets until I finally found the ingredients to pancakes.
While I was dishing the pancakes, Elijah walked in the kitchen shirtless might I add.
'Stop drooling you idiot.' I said to Ria after hearing her sigh dreamily.
"Pancakes?" I asked him trailing off.
"Sure. Thanks." He said said taking a seat at the counter.
"Well you're gonna have to make them yourself." I said walking away with my plate of pancakes.
I hurriedly finished my pancakes then rushed outside.
"Where are you going?" Elijah asked.
"Remember that guest I told you will be here soon? Well she'll be here soon so I'm going to meet her at the border." I said.
"Wait! How long will your guest stay for?" He asked.
"She'll stay for as long as I'm staying so a very long time." I stopped to say. 'Speaking of stay, I saw a tub of ice-cream in the fridge. I have to have it.' I thought to myself.
I started walking again but noticed Elijah started walking too. "What? Why are you following me?"
"Because I'm the alpha and you can't let strangers into my pack without informing me." He said.
"I did inform you." I said annoyed.
"You did but I'd like you be there." He said
"Why? Don't you have pack work to do?" I said glaring at him.
"I do but I want to see who you invited. What's wrong? Do you have something to hide?" He said glaring at me skeptically.
"You're the most difficult person I've ever met, I swear. I'm not even gonna argue with you anymore. If you wanna come then fine. Whatever." I said rolling my eyes.
After a few minutes we reached the border.
"Alpha, what brings you here?" Jared asked. I think that's his name or was it Blake? Oh well.
"Artemis is expecting a guest. They will be here shortly." Elijah said. Just then Jeremy's dark blue Tesla pulled up. 'He had to bring the Tesla? Show off.' I thought rolling my eyes.
"ARTY!" Jeremy yelled pulling me in a tight hug.
"Can't.... breath...." I managed to get out. Jeremy chuckled letting me go. I looked over to see Elijah glaring daggers at Jeremy.
"Rose wanted to come but I don't want to put her and our baby in harm." Jeremy said with a sigh.
"I told you Jeremy, Rose loves me more than you." I said smuggly. "Now where's my baby?" I asked. Jeremy sighed.
"She's pretending to be asleep so you'll carry her." Jeremy said.
"Really? Since she's sleeping I guess I have all the ice-cream to myself then." I say loud enough for her to hear.
"Wait mommy no! See I'm not sleeping." K.C. said rushing out of the car and jumping into my arms. I kissed her cheek.
"Have you been a good girl to auntie Rose and uncle Jeremy?" I asked putting her down.
"What do you mean mommy? I did what you told me to do..." K.C said.
"No-" I said trying to interrupt her but it was too late.
"You put her up to this?" Jeremy said. "You're gonna pay Victorian."
"We'll see about that Aimilios." I said. "Also don't you have a family to go back to?"
"Why are you trying to get rid of me so quickly? I thought we were in love." Jeremy said placing a hand over his heart.
"No I only have eyes for Rose." I said. "Also you're a pain in my ass. Don't say that." I said to K.C.
"Anyways I have to get going because I have a business to run." Jeremy said. "Oh and Sonia said she's glad you're gone because now her missions will be quieter." Jeremy said with a laugh.
"What? She loves me. And I don't even talk that much, she does all the talking." I huffed. "Also tell her I'm still mad at her for taking that watch I was eyeing."
Jeremy chuckled, "will do. Oh and remember Don? Sonia heard him talking to someone on the phone about getting information soon." Jeremy said looking amused. I would be amused too becuase Don is the stupidest double spy I've ever came across.
"Let me guess, you're gonna lead him on for while?" I said with a smile.
"Yup. Well anyways it was nice seeing you Artemis. Alpha Elijah." He said in acknowledgement to Elijah. They both shook hands firmly which looked more like they were squeeze the life out of each other hands.
"Mommy, can we go now? Someone might eat the ice-cream before we get there" K.C. whined.
"Sure honey." I said chuckling. "I'll talk to you later Jeremy."
"Ok I'll tell Rose you said hi." Jeremy said getting in his car.
I watched Jeremy drive off. "Come on mommy. Before someone eats the ice-cream." K.C. said pulling on my hand.
"Alright I'm coming. I'm coming missy." I laughed picking her up. While we were going back to the pack houses, I noticed Elijah kept glancing at me then at K.C. weirdly. I frowned. He looked hurt and angry at the same time.
'What if he thinks K.C. is my child? Even thoughtechnically she is my child' I thought to Ria.
"Really? I don't think he would look at a child that looks just like you and calls you mom is yours." Ria said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes at her.
'Maybe I should explain everything to him.' I said.
"Yah think?" Ria said.
'He literally treated us like unwanted guest yet you're on his side.' I said rolling my eyes.
"Sorry. I'm just in one of those moods." Ria apologized.
'It's ok.' I said.
Now I need to find a way to explain everything to Elijah.
Elijah's P.O.V.
'She has a daughter.' I thought angrily we walked back to the pack houses.
'No wonder she wants to leave. It's because she already has a whole family waiting for her." I felt angry yet hurt at the same time. At first I thought she was with that Jeremy guy but I calmed down a bit when she said he had a mate and a family. Alex, my wolf, whined in my head. He normally isn't like this.
'What's wrong?' I asked him.
'I want my mate you idiot but because you decided to be an asshole it's gonna take forever for her to forgive us.' He growled at me.
'Look I know I messed up big time but will you stop being a baby about it? I'll do anything to win her over.' I said internally rolling my eyes at him.
'You better because incase you haven't realized, idiot, if we lose her because of your stupidity there's no second chance, dad will force you to marry one of those bimbos." Alex said. I shivered at the thought of having to mate with one of the girls dad chose.
I have to win Artemis over.
