After a whole day of acting as Anastasia's slave, I was relieved of my duties for the day. She said I could go and sleep at around 10 pm.
When I got back, I changed and went to sleep instantly. I guess the day caught up with me quicker than I had originally thought.
Once again, I entered the abyssal space.
The place where my nightmare constantly happens.
And that's how I ended up here. Sweating and looking at the girl, in front of me, with a shocked expression.
[Hello, Brother.]
I could see the girl's face now. I could see it so clearly that I couldn't remember a time when it was blurry.
She was still short and wearing a white dress. Her hair was black, like mine. Most importantly, though; her eyes. They were silver. A trait that my mother had and that my older sister inherited.
There was no doubt. This girl was my sister.
I know she is. I know, yet...
My brain overloaded resulting in me puking in my own mental space. It's not a nice feeling.
I know she's my sister, yet I don't have a single memory of her.
[Hello, anyone there?]
She asked, waving her hand in front of my face.
"Huh? Your voice. It's like a woman."
[Oh, you don't remember it? I guess I should change my form then.]
"Excuse me? Form? What're you-"
The girl glowed brightly for a second.
In her place, a teenager appeared.
She had the same features as the girl, but her body became curvier and she was almost my height.
She wore the same white dress as the girl but longer.
"Do you remember now?"
The voice spoke. It didn't ring through my head like usual. Some part of me recognised it, but my brain couldn't remember.
I shook my head horizontally.
"That's right, you never saw my face. I only talked to you once that way."
She muttered.
"Fine, then let me introduce myself, Black King."
Black... King...
Only one person called me that. It was...
"I'm ULTIMA, also known as, Yumeko Sasaki."
She bowed like a showman.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
That's impossible.
This is my own mental space, there's no way someone I don't know is here. It's probably my mind playing tricks on me, wanting to figure out this nightmare.
"Judging from your face, Brother, you don't believe me."
She read my emotions on my face.
I have to calm down. I'm freaking out too much. I've never freaked out like this, so I need to calm down.
I took three deep breaths in and out before speaking.
"I don't."
When I spoke, the girl, Yumeko, looked conflicted.
"Why? After years, I finally reach out. I was going to tell you to join us."
Yumeko said.
"No, I mean, think about it. We're inside my mind. This is my dream. My nightmare. There's no way someone like you could be here."
"And yet I've been here the whole time."
She retorted.
"If you were here the whole time, why reveal your identity now?"
"That's simple. Your powers. I couldn't communicate properly with you until your powers resurfaced. Once they were on the verge of reawakening, I was able to talk to you."
Yumeko smiled as I began to realise.
"April 12th."
I said.
"Yes. The day I talked as the girl and ULTIMA."
"So, what? What is this place? If it's not my mind, then what is it?"
I asked.
Yumeko sighed, looking disappointed.
"To think you couldn't get the answer by thinking."
She stared at me.
"It's OUR mind."
Well, vague much?
"Explain."
I commanded.
At first, she didn't seem so content with doing so, however, she explained regardless.
"Since that day, we've been connected. On that day, you gain-. Ahem! You inherited a Singularity and temporarily lost your Streia abilities."
She was being quite vague with her wording. With all of the conversations we've had, I think she should know that I don't remember her, but she's speaking like I know what happened on 'that day.'
I need to know what happened on that day to understand all of this.
"Yumeko. Tell me, what happened that day?"
As I asked, Yumeko backed away slightly. She glared at me.
"You're telling me, your memories haven't come back about that day?"
When she asked, she looked terror-stricken.
"No. At least, I don't think."
Yumeko stamped her foot, screaming.
"Shit!"
The girl paced around, back and forth, biting her nail. Is there something wrong with me not knowing?
The way she said it, it sounded like I was supposed to know by now. Something terrible must've happened that day if she's this concerned about it.
"Fine... I'll have to tell you."
Something seemed to light up in Yumeko's mind. She smiled, peering over at me.
"I can show you instead."
"How?"
The girl sauntered toward me.
"This is our mind space. Our powers should work in here, meaning that I can use my power."
"Your Singularity?"
"Lock is its name. Your memories should be locked because of the past, so I just have to unlock them and you'll see it. Hold still."
Should I be trusting her?
Yumeko raised her hand out and grabbed my head. Closing her eyes, I could sense her deep concentration. It's best not to disturb her.
"Found it. Unlock."
Something feel different. Like it was opening a door and now... I'm seeing a room that I've never been to.

2007 June, Japan, Sasaki Household.
In the Sasaki Household, despite it being the afternoon, for them, it was the morning.
Downstairs, the father, Gedo Sasaki, was enjoying his tea as he read JNP, Japan Newspaper.
A woman was washing the dishes.
She stopped and turned her head to the side when she remembered something.
"Shou-chan! Yume-chan! Breakfast is ready!"
"Coming!"
"Yeah!"
Two cute voices shouted.
Gedo looked at her from over his newspaper.
"You should've woken them up earlier, Aria."
"They need their precious sleep."
The woman replied to the father.
The woman was the mother of the family.
Her hair was long and black. She was taller than her husband and her body shape was curvier than most her age. Her eyes shone. Her rare silver eyes.
Aria Sasaki is the mother of the Sasaki family.
Current date: 2nd June, 2007
4 days until that day arrives...
