"Come again?"
I asked the girl.
I think she said something about attacking the school and killing Weissmann. And, Valhalla, what's that?
Yumeko sighed once more.
"I said that on the 3rd of May, we, of Valhalla, have been instructed to raid the island city, Altria, and kill Weissmann Mori. Meaning that we will hit your school."
"Wait, if you're going to do that, then why would you tell me?"
"We may be on different sides now, but you're my beloved older brother. I have to warn you so that you can avoid danger."
I won't say that that'll want me to run toward the danger.
"Besides, you want to hide, don't you?"
"?"
"Your powers. Black Exodia. I'm sure someone has told you about the Emperors. You need to lie low as much as possible. Getting involved would be trouble for you."
That's true... No matter what I try to do, I'm powerless in battle. The best I can do is warn them.
"Anyways, have fun. Your school will be shut down from the 4th forward. Of course, after we kill that son of a bitch, Hunter."
Hunter? Is she still talking about Weissmann?
Abruptly, my surroundings started spinning and so did my head. It was like the darkness around me was spinning and rotating.
"It's time for you to wake up, Big Bro. See ya. Maybe I'll see you on the 3rd."
Before I started falling, Yumeko wore a treacherous smile on her face.
I need to tell them. I need to tell Weissmann.
--
As my eyes opened, for what felt like the first time in forever, a bright white blinded me.
"Ngh..."
I groaned as my vision cleared quickly over time. The ceiling is white... This isn't my room.
I jumped out of the bed and looked around.
This place... It looks like the nurse's office.
But why am I here anyway?
The last thing I remember is the memory of June 6th and meeting the girl, Yumeko Sasaki, my younger sister, for the first time.
"You're finally awake, are you?"
A sexy voice called out.
Upon turning, I saw a beautiful woman.
When I say that, I mean seriously beautiful.
I swallowed my saliva as I admired her physical features. Her long, silky blonde hair; her crimson eyes; smooth lips; big boobs and butt.
Man... Any high school boy would fawn over her. She held a checklist and board.
"Y-yes..."
I regained my composure.
"Good. I examined you but there wasn't anything too out of the ordinary."
"Uhh... Okay... Wait, what do you mean 'too?'"
She looked at me, indifferent.
"Oh, it's just that your mind was in a state of mental panic during the time you were sleeping. At first, I was worried that your frontal cortex would get overwhelmed eventually, but you made it out just fine."
I didn't understand the latter but I'm sure that the former isn't good. Maybe it's just me.
"Umm..."
I hesitated, wanting to call her name but I didn't know her.
"Ayaka."
"Well, Ayaka, could you please tell me how long I've been out for?"
"You've been out for two days."
"WHAT?!"
Two days?!
So, since I fell asleep at midnight on the 27th, and it's bright outside right now, it should be the 30th right now. Damn, only three days to prepare.
I jumped out of my bed.
"Sorry to ask you a favour, Ayaka."
"Ask away."
"Could you lead me to the principal's office?"
She seemed unsure at first but something made her accept.
"Alright. Come with me."
Ayaka, the nurse, walked out without saying another word. We left her office and walked up the nearest staircase.
As she trailed ahead of me, on the stairs, I looked downwards not to catch a glimpse of her huge ass. I really wanted to, but my dignity held me back.
We reached the top of the stairs and went right. At the end of the corridor was a room. The side beside the door said, "Weissmann."
She opened the door.
"Excuse us."
Ayaka said.
The man sitting at the desk was the same as the man who greeted me when I first came here.
It was the principal, Weissmann Mori.
"Ah, Ayaka. It's been a while since we've seen each other. And, oh, Shoya! It's been a while too."
He seemed overjoyed to see me.
We walked forward and stopped before his desk. His servant, Ophelia, was standing next to him, like a statue, with her hands on her stomach and head down. Like a maid.
"Well, what brings the two of you here?"
Weissmann asked, with a vibrant smile.
Ayaka turned to me, signalling me to talk. Stepping forward, I spoke.
"3 days from now, there'll be an attack on the school. That group's objective is to kill you."
There was a sharp silence. The one who broke that silence, quickly, was Weissmann.
He covered his eyes as he laughed wholeheartedly.
Ignoring Weissmann's loud laughter, Ophelia spoke.
"May I ask how you know this, Black King?"
There it is again. 'Black King,' I thought it was Black Emperor.
"I had a dream. Someone in that dream told me."
The principal stopped laughing.
"And you came to tell me this because of a dream?"
"Yes. Because the dream was more like reality too."
"How can we believe you?"
Ophelia asked.
"Uhh... Well..."
I didn't know how to counter her question. There was no way for them to believe me. I was at a dead end.
"May I speak, Weissmann?"
Ayaka began talking.
Weissmann stared at her and then nodded.
"Right before this, Shoya Sasaki was in a two-day coma and during that coma, his frontal cortex activity was unusual. There was also his hippocampus, which was gaining new memories. He's most likely telling the truth."
She explained.
"If it's Lady Ayaka who says it..."
Ophelia muttered.
The nurse, Ayaka, must be well-trusted if she's able to change the maid's opinion this fast.
Weissmann sighed.
"Okay, I believe you, Shoya. You said, Valhalla, right?"
"Yeah, but before we continue, can I ask you something?"
The principal nodded.
"What does the word, 'Hunter,' mean to you?"
Suddenly the principal froze. Both Ophelia and Ayaka looked dumbfounded as if I did something unquestionable.
There's definitely something more to that word.
