"Would you like to come inside for a cup of coffee?"
When Serena heard these words her mind went blank. She felt like she was facing a surprise attack. She didn't understand for a while what was happening and started overthinking. Her whole face flushed red and she didn't move even an inch.
"...na, ...rena, Serena! Serena. Are you okay? Your face is all red, do you have a fever?" Ash asked her worryingly. He felt like Serena just blacked out.
"Ah! ..." Serena wanted to say something but cut between her talk and said "Don't say you are okay. You don't look okay to me at all so come inside and rest for a while."
Ash didn't know that it was exactly because of this that Serena was feeling this way so he insisted Serena come in and rest for a while. In the end, Serena had to give up so she got out of her car and went with him to his apartment.
"Please make yourself comfortable even though it is a little small."
"I didn't expect my boss to live in such a shabby apartment." Serena joked
"It's not that bad. I'm saving money for my movie but once my movie is released I will change to Beverly Hills or something like that and even buy a car."
"You are always so overconfident."
"I have an ability to back my overconfidence. Please sit here for a while I will go make coffee."
Serena sat on a sofa and said, "Okay."
Ash went into the kitchen and started to prepare a coffee. Serena who was sitting alone in the living room started thinking about what just happened.'I don't know what is happening.' 'Ash is a good person and he is very capable' 'Am I falling for him?' when these thoughts entered her mind she became stiff. 'No, that is not possible he is too young for me'
Even though Serena was 26 years old and was very beautiful she never had experienced love. She was raised by her single mother and she understood her family condition early on. She worked hard to pay for her studies and the tuition so she never had time for love.
When she was in university uncle Sam who was a family friend found her talent and paid for her tuition at university so she could focus on her study. And after university, she quickly started doing jobs to pay back Uncle Sam's debt which he didn't really mind.
She felt so grateful to Uncle Sam that she even left her good and stable job to work with Ash at his request. She didn't have any high expectations from Ash but it turned out that Ash was actually a very talented person even though sometimes a little reckless. It was the first time she had met someone who was so passionate about his work and on top of that, he was very handsome, polite, and easy to get along so how couldn't she fall for him.
Her train of thoughts was interrupted when Ash came back from the kitchen and handed her a cup of coffee. He asked her, "Are you feeling better now."
"I'm all better."
"That's good. You have been working hard lately and by the way, thanks for working hard but you should also take your rest from time to time."
"Nah, I wasn't sick at all, You are just overreacting." She looked at Ash and now she was certain of her feelings for him so she asked him, "Ash what is your plan after you make your dream come true and make Starline company no. 1 company."
Ash thought for a while and said, "Honestly I haven't thought that far but at that time I will become the 'Movie King' so I might make a harem of beautiful girls."
Hearing that Serena was so surprised that she almost choked herself with coffee so she said, "Did you really just say that in front of a girl."
"don't mind it I am just reading some weird stuff lately so I'm saying whatever nonsense."
Serena said, "Ohhhhhh!" in a tone like she realized something.
"Hey, Don't misunderstand I didn't mean that by saying weird stuff."
Serena once again said, "Ohhhhhh!"
"You are going to make fun of me for the rest of my life using that aren't you."
Serena once again, "Ohhhhhh!" To which both of them laughed like crazy.
Sometime later Serena went back and Ash went to sleep.
The next day Ash went to Martha's house. When Martha saw Ash she said, "Hello Ash. How come you are here today?"
"Hello, aunt Martha I wanted to discuss something with you."
"Oh! Please come in." Martha invited Ash inside her house and they both went inside.
Misty went to school so Martha was alone at home. Ash sat on the sofa in the living room and drank some water and said, "I wanted to discuss something about Misty."
"What happened." Martha panicked a little when she heard Misty's name.
"Nothing happened to her. I wanted to say that I'm actually making a movie and I think Misty is very suitable to play an important role in the movie."
"You want to play her in your movie. You do know that Misty never acted before."
"Don't worry about that I watched her play with her dolls and I think she has a natural talent for it."
"Playing with dolls and playing in front of the camera are two different things you know don't you."
"I will hire professional acting teachers for her and she is a bright child I just know that she will do great."
"Did you ask for her opinion?"
"I haven't yet but intended to do that after your permission because I didn't want to give her some false dreams."
"I will give you permission but you have to promise me something."
"I will promise you whatever you want."
"Then I want you to promise me that you will take care of her not only for this movie but as long as she stays in the entertainment circle."
"I give you my promise that I will take care of her like she is my real sister."
After that Ash waited until Misty came back from school
When she came back Ash told her about the movie and she accepted to play Olive.
Ash then told Martha about a basic outline of Olive's character and her behavior after hearing it Martha felt like this script was basically written for Misty since Olive was so similar to Misty.
