Chapter 14 - NEW NEGOTIATIONS

"Pixie Animation Studio"

When Ash heard that name he seemed to have some recollection of this studio in his OG memories(memories of original Ash). This studio focuses on mainly 3d animation and just like its name it is very similar to from his previous life. But it was not as famous as . And it is a relatively new studio so Ash thought it might be a good choice.

"So what's their offer?"

"You will know once you meet Robert Brian. He is the one I sent your script to and he is also the owner of the Pixie animations."

"Then let's meet them for the dinner at the Crown hotel."

"Okay, I will Inform them."

"Now that this is fixed how about we talk about the second script."

"Oh! I read it last night and simply put it is a great script and we can hire a good director and reap some big profits."

"Please stop joking around. I'm going to direct that movie no matter what."

"Can't you reconsider? Everything is going great for the company right now." Cynthia said to Ash, "Rowen found a movie for us to distribute, Nancy found some good roles for Cynthia and other artists of our company, talks for are going well too and we will sell it sooner or later, and now this script is great too. If we make this good we will surely rise again and all this was done by you. But everything will be ruined with just one wrong step. I'm not saying you can't do it but I'm just saying that you should earn a little more experience before directing a movie."

"I understand your concerns Serena but I want you to believe me this one time and I promise you that nothing will be ruined."

"I promised you before that I will resist you but won't oppose you and this is my limit. I won't resist you anymore."

Ash felt a little relieved when Serena said that so he got close to her. He smiled in front of her face and said, "And promise that I won't let you down"

When Ash said that while smiling close to her face she felt like her heart skipped a beat.

The Crown Hotel:- 3rd June Evening

Ash and Serena went to The Crown Hotel to meet Robert. Robert was waiting for them in a lounge so Ash and Serena joined him.

Serena introduced Ash and Robert to each other. After introductions were over they decided to talk business.

"So Mr. Robert, Serena told me that you have an offer for me which might be interesting."

"Well, I do have one. Serena told me that you wanted to make this movie yourself but couldn't make it because you don't have expertise in this area. But what if I provide you with the expertise."

"So you want to make this movie but not actually buy it?"

"No, I have every intention of buying this script but not with the money."

"If not money then what?"

"I will not pay you money but make you a part of it." Robert said while smiling, "I will offer you 10% shares of my company in return for this script."

"10% for a 15 million dollars script which means the valuation of your company is 150 million dollars. Aren't you making the valuation of your company a little too higher?"

"I can say the same for your script. Anyways, what is your counteroffer."

"I want 40%."

"Wow, I thought I will catch a big fish today but I ended up hooking a real shark," Robert said jokingly.

"I will take that as a compliment"

"Well, Jokes aside let me tell you the real offer. I will give you 25% shares of my company but there is one condition that you have to give money for the film production in later stages."

Ash thought about this offer for a moment and he felt like it was a good offer and it was also good to have an animation studio. So looked at Serena for confirmation of his thinking.

Serena nodded at him and said, "In my opinion, it is a good offer but the final decision belongs to you."

"Okay, I have decided. It's a deal." Ash stood up and shook his hand with Robert.

"Then I will prepare the documents for equity transfer and rights transfer of tomorrow," said Serena.

After the meeting ended Serena offered Ash to drop him at his apartment so Ash got into her car. And in the car, they started to discuss the company matters.

"So I have thought about some people in our company who might look good for the roles in and you can audition them but we don't have any child actress for the role of Olive."

"I already have someone in my mind for the role of Olive."

"Oh! That will save us a lot of headaches. considering how important the role of Olive is we can't just find anyone and expect it to be good."

"Yeah, that's true but first I have to convince her guardian but it shouldn't be that difficult since I know them."

Soon they arrived at his apartment.

Ash got out of her car and said, "Would you like to come inside for a cup of coffee.
