Chapter 11 - .....

"Cynthia congratulation, The company has lifted your ban. They want you back."

When Cynthia heard this she was really surprised. She didn't know what to say. She did feel excited about it but she still had some doubts about this.

Seeing Cynthia hesitating Nancy said, "Cynthia I know that you have your doubts but believe me this time. After you left a lot changed in the company and it took a turn for the better."

Cynthia felt a little relieved but she still asked Nancy, "What happened?"

"You know even though the company only had one shareholder but it still had a board of directors. Did you know why?"

"No" Cynthia answered.

"It's because previously the owner of the company was still young so the company was controlled by a board of directors but now the owner has turned into an adult so he took over the company." Nancy became more and more excited as she continued talking, "At first anyone of us didn't have any expectations but girl we were so wrong about him. He not only fired Butch and his gang on his very first day but he even filed a lawsuit against them earlier today for their corruption. He even raised your issue on the first day. He called them incompetent for not protecting you who is their most profitable artist."

When Cynthia all the details from Nancy she felt more and more relieved and became a little curious about Ash. Nancy was a very talkative person so Cynthia didn't interrupt her and continued listening to her "He even hired a new CEO and our new CEO is also very amazing. She sent me here today to apologize to you on behalf of the company."

Then Nancy took out a letter from her bag and handed it to Cynthia. Cynthia opened the letter and started to read it,

Dear miss Cynthia, We the Starline film company want to sincerely apologize to you for our previous behavior towards you. And we will show our apology not only by our words but with our action so we would like to invite you to the company to renegotiate your contract.'

When Cynthia read these lines she became certain that things changed for the better.

When Nancy saw Cynthia relieved Nancy said to her, "Hey, last time I couldn't do anything for you but this I will make sure you get the best of the best deal"

Cynthia looked at Nancy and smiled, "I will look forward to that."

Starline company (30th May):-

In the evening Ash was preparing for the in his office just then Ash heard a knock on his door but he was too immersed in his work that he didn't bother asking who was it and directly said, "Come in."

Then a woman who was in her 30s came into his office. She was wearing a tight dress with a pair of long heels and her face was covered with heavy makeup. She was the secretary for Serena. Initially, she was hired by Butch for the position of secretary of the CEO. After Butch was fired she became a little wary. Even though she wasn't fired from the first list but she knew her name was on the top of the second list. To save her job she decided to go after Ash.

"President, CEO Kayli sent me to give this file to you." she handed over the file to Ash while leaning on the table.

Ash looked at the file it was the copyright for the . Ash signed the copyright file and placed it in his drawer. Ash was very happy after he signed the copyright.

The secretary was still standing in front of Ash so he told her, "You can go now."

"I can help you, President If you need my help," She said in a cliche tone.

Ash just ignored her advances and even felt a little annoyed by her. It's not like the secretary was not beautiful, It's just that Ash didn't like her type so he said, "No, I don't need your help. you can go now."

She felt a little disappointed but followed the order and went out.

At night time Ash was getting ready to go back to his apartment when Serena offered him a ride to his home so Ash went along with her.

In the car, Serena said to Ash, "I have already sent the script to Disney and we will hear it from them soon."

"You seem confident in my script."

"Aren't you confident in it too? Well, it's a pity that we couldn't make it ourselves."

"Yeah but don't worry I will write a lot of good scripts in the future that you won't be able to handle in the future."

"You just wrote one script and you are already flying above the clouds."

"Ah! Don't worry I have a knack for it. Oh, and by the way, I won't be able to come to the company for two days."

"We are just in the beginning and you are already going to ignore your company. At least hire a secretary for yourself to handle your work in the company."

While they were talking they arrived. Ash said goodbye to Serena and went to his apartment."

When he got into his apartment he immediately started preparing for his script but before he could go into his calm state he received a phone call from his stepbrother, James.

Ash answered the call, "Hello".

-Ash what is going on with you. Why did fire Butch and file a lawsuit against him?"

"Because he deserves it."

-What do you mean by it. Look Butch is my friend so you will take back the lawsuit and give him back his position as the CEO.

When heard that he got super annoyed by it so he said, "If he is your friend then hire him in your company. don't bother me."

After saying that he switched off his phone and went into his calm state.
