After Ash arrived home he decided to write his script once again. He wrote the script for another 10 minutes and then he went to sleep. The next day Ash woke up early because he wanted to exercise a little bit. Even though OG had maintained his body quite well but Ash still felt like he wanted to improve it more. He wanted to have a strong body so his body can handle the repercussions of his ability.
Ash went out jogging in the early morning. After jogging he went to a nearby park a rest a little bit. Just as he entered the park he saw a beautiful girl standing in front of him. It was May Caulson his former fiancee. Ash thought about leaving but just then their eyes met with other. The atmosphere becomes a little awkward between them. Ash ignored their eye contact with each other. Ash walked past her like they were strangers.
He got out of the garden and went home. When you reached home he received a phone call from Serena. He answered the call.
- Are you coming to the office today.
"I will take that as 'you liked my script'."
-We will talk about that when you come to the office.
"Sometimes I feel like you are the boss and I am the employee."
-And I will take that as a 'complement'.
"Okay, I will be there in an hour or two."
-Then see you at the company.
They ended the phone call and Ash went to take a shower.
An hour and a half later Ash arrived at the company and Ash went directly to Serena's office.
Ash knocked on her door and said, "I'm here"
Serena called him from the inside, "Please come in."
"So did you like it?" Ash asked her while sitting on the chair.
"I have to say you do have a talent for scriptwriting. You even created character sketches and even wrote techniques for animation."
"wow, I'm an amazing boss or what. I do receive a lot of compliments from you."
"Well, all bosses have that misunderstanding so I won't judge you," Serena said while smiling.
"Ouch, that hurts. You don't have to be so brutal." Ash said that while rubbing his hand on his heart and with a mysterious smile on his face.
"Anyway, so what are your thoughts about it."
"It's a pretty good script. We can get at least $500,000 for it."
"No, no, no, no."
"what?"
"I think you don't understand its potential."
"Oh! how much do you think?"
"At least $15 million."
"That's 30 times my estimations. No one will pay that much for a script."
"They won't pay that much for a script but they will pay for the character rights."
"Oh! So that's how you want to play. I have to say you are different from other bosses. you definitely deserve those compliments."
"So which company we should choose to sell it," Ash asked.
"I think Disney will be a good choice. Animation movies are their trademark and they are the best in terms of 3d animation they haven't produced a good animation movie for a while now. So they are in a dire need of a good animation movie."
"Then let's send it to Disney."
While they were talking about it Serena's secretary entered the room. She looked a little pale so Serena asked her, "What's the matter?"
"It's Director Rupert. He is making a seen in the company."
"Who is this Director Rupert?" Ash asked Serena.
"He is a long-time client of this company. He makes some very bad-quality movies and sells them to corrupt companies. That way he and the distribution staff makes a lot of money and the company suffers all the losses. Starline was his favorite one before we took over the company asked him to make a movie and yesterday he came back claiming to fulfill the request. But the movie he sent wasn't even a movie. They were just some random video recorded on a camcorder and were stuffed together randomly."
"Wow, that's some high-level scheming. What is the mother-in-law of this company?"
"Haha" Serena chuckled while standing up "Don't worry I got it covered. Let's go."
Ash and Serena got into the elevator and Serena took out her phone and called someone. Ash didn't pay attention to it. Soon they arrived on the first floor and they saw Rupert shouting at the staff working there.
"Mister Rupert don't you know that it is bad manners to shout at people you don't know."
"It's you... I wouldn't have shouted at them if they let me meet you."
"So why do you want to meet me?"
"Can we talk alone?"
"Okay"
Then they went to the conference room located on the first floor. Ash followed them to the conference room.
When Rupert saw Ash he said to Ash, "Kid you stay outside. Let us grown-ups talk alone."
Ash was surprised and didn't realize that Rupert was talking to him so he started to look around him to find out who Rupert was talking to.
Serena was amused watching this scene so she said to Rupert, "Let him come he is trustworthy."
Then they entered the conference room together. And sat on their chairs.
"Look I won't beat around the bush. What I am telling you is a great opportunity. I want you to buy my film in the name of the Starline company and I will give you a commission," Rupert said to Serena.
"Oh! Wouldn't that make this company bankrupt?"
"This company belongs to media mogul Cyrus. He will not let it get bankrupt and we will make a lot of money that way."
"Is that why this company released those bad quality movies of yours."
"Yes, the previous CEO and head of the distribution department made a lot a lot of money using this method and now it's our turn."
