Lily and Mr. Graff held hands as they came out of the cinema after watching a movie together. They then immediately returned to Lily's apartment. Mr. Graff suddenly stopped his car and asked Lily to get out of the vehicle.
"You want to drop me off here, Dad?" asked a surprised Lily.
"No, honey. I want us to take a short walk to your apartment. When else can we walk together like this?" said Mr. Graff.
Lily nodded her head. "I thought you wanted to drop me off on the street."
"Am I mean to my daughter?" said Mr. Graff, laughing softly.
Lily responded with a low chuckle. She then got out of her father's car. At the same time, Mr. Graff parked his vehicle at the road marking used for parking. After parking the car, Mr. Graff immediately approached Lily. They then walked together towards Lily's apartment.
"Are you having fun tonight?" asked Mr. Graff.
"Of course I'm happy. We don't do things like this every day," Lily said.
"In that case, good. Usually, children your age feel uncomfortable walking with their parents."
"I still enjoy it. What's wrong with walking with your parents? It's fun," said Lily.
"How is your relationship with Ryan? Are you guys dating?"
"Ryan is one of my best friends after Alona. He's quite a pleasant man."
"Does he know about Matthew?"
"I like to talk about what I've been doing lately. You remember when I brought Ryan to meet you, right?"
Mr. Graff nodded his head.
"I brought him to see Matthew too," Lily said.
"Then what did he say?"
"He didn't think he would have such a big rival as Matthew," Lily replied with a low laugh.
"Then what about Ryan after Matthew successfully awakened?"
"I'll still meet him. Besides, I don't know what Matthew's response will be to me yet. He would be confused if I went straight to him."
Mr. Graff took a deep breath. "Hopefully, all the procedures go well."
"I hope so," said Lily.
Mr. Graff then looked at Lily and smiled at her. "I already said that I love you, didn't I?"
"Throughout the night, you've been saying how much you love me, Dad."
Mr. Graff laughed softly.
It doesn't feel like Mr. Graff and Lily suddenly arrive in front of Lily's apartment building. "You don't want to stop by, Dad?"
"No need. I don't want to disturb your time anymore," said Mr. Graff.
Lily frowned. "You can sleep at my place tonight."
"Come in and rest. Your big day is coming soon. You have to look good to Matthew when he opens his eyes," teased Mr. Graff.
Lily laughed softly. He then approached Mr. Graff and hugged him tightly. "I wish we could spend more time together like this."
Mr. Graff took a deep breath as he rubbed Lily's back. "I'm sorry for rarely making time for the two of us like this."
"No need to apologize, Dad. We've been together in the lab quite often. That's enough for me," said Lily.
Mr. Graff let go of Lily's embrace. He then lifted his head and kissed Lily's forehead. "After this, I'll spend more time going out with you."
Lily smiled as she looked at Mr. Graff. "I'll manage it later."
Mr. Graff laughed softly. "Hurry in. It's getting cold outside."
Lily nodded her head. She smiled at Mr. Graff and then stepped into her apartment building. Before the door closed, Lily shouted at Mr. Graff, who had walked out of his apartment building. "I love you, Dad!"
Mr. Graff turned and laughed while looking at Lily, smiling at him. He waved his hand and started walking again.

Lily immediately threw herself on the bed as soon as she entered her room. She stretched out her arms and looked up at the ceiling with a big smile. Today she was pleased after having dinner and watching a movie with her father.
Suddenly Lily's hand grabbed her bag, and she immediately took out her cellphone from her purse. Lily wants to share her happiness with Ryan.
Within four rings, Ryan finally answered Lily's call. "What is this? Am I dreaming?"
From Ryan's voice when he greeted her, Lily guessed that Ryan had fallen asleep, and a call from her awakened him. "Are you sleeping?"
Ryan sighed softly and asked Lily back. "Are you taking revenge on me for disturbing your sleep?"
Lily laughed softly. "Think of it that way."
"What is it? You don't usually call this late," Ryan said.
"I want to share my happiness with you," said Lily.

Ryan frowned after hearing Lily's words. He then rubbed his eyes. "What happiness would you like to share?"
Lily laughed softly. "I was just dating."
"What? So besides Matthew and me, is there another man?" shouted Ryan.
Lily immediately responded to Ryan's words with a laugh. "Yes. And you've met him."
"Who's he? Who else will be my rival this time?"
"Mr. Sebastian Graff," Lily replied.
Ryan fell silent as he furrowed his brows. "Is that your father's name?"
Lily chuckled. "Yep. I just dated my dad."
"Oh, shit. I'm not going to win against your father," Ryan said. Then he laughed softly.
Lily laughed along with Ryan.
Ryan then took a deep breath. "Sounds like you are thrilled after dating your father? Haven't you two seen each other in the lab?"
"We often meet in the lab. But we rarely spend time outside together. We discuss research more often," answered Lily.
"That's why you sound so happy?"
"Yes. And I thought of you," answered Lily.
"I'm so flattered that you remember me when you're happy," Ryan said.
Lily chuckled softly. "Do you have any time for next week?"
"Hmm, what's wrong?" Ryan said.
"Next week is going to be the biggest week of my life. We're going to wake Matthew up," Lily replied.
Ryan's eyes narrowed. "Wow, that's excellent news."
Lily chuckled. "I'm getting nervous because soon I'll be able to meet Matthew in person."
Ryan sighed softly. He tried to act casual about Matthew's news about waking up. He then laughed softly. "Did you buy lingerie?"
Lily laughed again. "You're still suggesting I kiss Matthew straight away?"
"You still remember my advice, apparently," said Matthew.
"Of course, I remember," said Lily.
"You should take my advice," said Matthew.
"I've considered it."
"And then?"
"I still wouldn't do it." Lily then chuckled.
Lily and Ryan then laughed together.
"So how?" Lily asked.
"I'll confirm my schedule with Hannah. After that, I'll tell you straight away," Ryan replied.
"Okay then. Let me know as soon as possible," said Lily.
"Don't worry, I'll tell you as soon as possible."
"Then I'll be waiting to hear from you. Good night."
"Goodnight, Lily."
