Blake, who was still confused about Feng Xian's sudden change of expressions, stood quietly in the Void as he continued to heal his internal injuries from surviving the old man's attack 3 days ago.
3 hours later...
Feng Xian who was as pale as paper slowly calmed down as he cupped his chin and thought to himself, 'If I offer this boy some heavenly treasures to keep his mouth shut, maybe I'll be able to keep my head the next time the other sect elders meet him....Yeah, that could work! That could --'
BOOM!
Before Feng Xian could even finish this train of thought though, he was suddenly blasted away by a silent explosion behind him. The barrier which he had erected to protect the both of them immediately shattered as Feng Xian was blasted into a floating piece of debris 200 miles away.
Following that, the floating piece of debris exploded into bits as Feng Xian hurriedly donned a suit of black crystalline armor while a halberd twice his height appeared in his hands. Both his armor and halberd exuded ancient desolate auras capable of warping space around him.
"Wow, your reaction speed to danger is quick. As expected of an elder from my master's sect. Wonderful, truly wonderful!" Blake heartily chuckled. He who had wanted to take revenge on his attacker was thoroughly impressed by how quickly Feng Xian got into his battle stance after having been sneak attacked by a fake weakened Blake.
In reality, Blake had already recovered from his injuries since he knew several high level healing spells so he had no problem healing himself back to his peak state. Even though Feng Xian's energy beam had shaken his entire body, since Iron Wall was able to protect most of his organs as well as his Mana core from the attack, his mana core immediately went into full drive and started to pump Mana vigorously so that Blake could consecutively cast high level healing magic to heal his injuries.
Within a stick of incense of time, Blake had even managed to heal his Spiritual Sea with the Intermediate level Magic King grade healing light that transforms mana into Spiritual Energy to heal damaged Spiritual Seas and Souls - Soul Light.
All the moaning and grimacing sounds that Blake made only existed within the illusion field he had secretly casted around the calm and relaxed Feng Xian 2 days ago. Feng Xian may have been an almighty figure of some sect within the inner realms, but within Blake's unique illusion field, not even an ancient divine spirit could notice that they had entered an array and was but a fish on a chopping block.
Feng Xian who finally understood the situation bitterly smiled as he understood the harsh life awaiting him in the future. With that, he withdrew his armor and halberd before appearing in front Blake like a ghost.
Blake who was unable to see what movement technique Feng Xian used to appear before him became extremely vigilant and was about to open some distance between them however was caught off guard when Feng Xian cupped his fist towards him in a respectful manner.
And before Blake could make sense of the situation, Feng Xian had already spoken in a respectful tone. "Elder Lv pays his respects to the Saint of Chaos! True Chaos Sect pays respect to Saint Blake!"
"What?" Clearly confused by the almighty's greeting towards him, Blake began recalling memories of his past life that mentioned this Saint of Chaos title. And then it hit him...his teacher, Chaos had once told him in his next life, his teacher will no doubt allow Blake to reincarnate with godly might that can suppress the Nine Primordial Heavens and Ten Ancient Netherworlds as well as a sect of almighty servants that will listen and carry out his every command without fail.
Thinking back on his teacher's promise now, Blake realized that his reincarnation had already been planned out for him and that he only needed to cultivate to reach the apex. Even his knowledge and memories of his past life were kept thanks to his teacher's promise.
He now wondered whether he should have made his teacher promise him a girlfriend too. He died as a 370 year old virgin since most girls ran away the moment he tried to talk to them.
The only romance he experienced was when he crashed the weddings and wedding anniversaries of Martial Angels and Magic Saints, their partners didn't run away and instead had tried to protect Blake's targets from getting executed but failed miserably, resulting in both the target and their partners getting slain by him in the end. It was also during moments like those that made him aware of his own cold and lonely life.
But now that Blake has been reincarnated and has taken on the name of his teacher, with his new Elder Lv as a witness, he decided to make a heart oath towards the Heavens stating that unless he reaches the end of the Heavenly Dao, he will seal away his ability to love and any other sort of feelings that relates to it.
BOOM!
As soon as he finishes his heart oath to the Heavens, all the ruins and floating objects in the Void all shattered into dust as the space elements found in the Void converged and exploded inwards, forming millions of micro black holes across the Multiverse. Soon after that, a shining bright light suddenly appeared in front of the two before drilling into Blake's forehead where it disappeared into his Spiritual Sea.
'My lord, what kind of heart oath did the Saint make that was able to move the Heavens itself??' Elder Lv felt incredibly shocked in his heart since it was his first time seeing a mortal making a heart oath and the Heavens responded by bestowing a sacred Dao to the mortal in his entire life, and he was several hundreds of thousands of years old to boot!
"This...Like this also can ah?" Elder Lv's mind was blown to smithereens at this point. The so-called Saint of Chaos was but a mortal with pitiful cultivation yet it seemed as though he was supported by the Heavens itself! In Elder Lv's opinion, upon witnessing the mysterious and magical ways his own Saint possessed, the other Saints of the Sect were truly trash compared to this Saint.
Even their Heavenly Emperor cultivation and indestructible physiques could not let them be acknowledged by the Heavens themselves, much less a Heavenly God who has rid the waves of the multiverse for tens of thousands of years.
Contrary to Elder Lv's astonishment however, Blake was rather indifferent to Dao he received since he wasn't strong enough to comprehend it anyways. He just thought that it was neat enough for the Heavens to give him the Dao of the Void even though Blake only cultivated the Magic Dao along with the darkness element.
In the end, Blake accepted Heaven's gift with utmost gratitude and reverence. It was also at that moment that a familiar voice resounded in his mind, 'Merry Christmas, my disciple.'
