Chapter 37 - Sentient Black Hole

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Elder Lv had tears streaming down his cheeks as he bellowed in hearty laughter.

"Oi, have you gone mad, old man??" Blake on the other hand, was utterly confused.

"HOHOAHAHAHA!!!!" [Elder Lv]

"Hm yep, he has indeed fallen into madness due to old age...." [Blake]

5 minutes of hearty laughter later...

"Man, it's been so long since I've found something so hilarious..." Elder Lv wiped a tear off his face as his mad laughter turned into a soft chuckle. Next, he turned towards the sentient black hole before reaching out to grab it with his bare hands.

"Be careful!" Likewise, even after witnessing Elder Lv's strength first hand, Blake couldn't help but call out to warn him since he knew the black hole wasn't weak either.

"Pop!" The sound of bubbles could be heard when Elder Lv grabbed the black hole out of its original position effortlessly. After the black hole was removed from its birthplace, the hole in the Void only then repaired itself.

Next, he simply blew on the black hole before tossing it over to Blake without care. "Here's the sentient black hole you wanted. I sealed it up for you too."

"Oi, treat my treasure with care, old man!" Blake glared at Elder Lv as he treated the black hole with care. This was a black hole formed from a remnant divine beast will and possessed sentience, a unique specimen everyone would want to their hands on, yet the old man in front of him treated it like trash.

Although the black hole has been supposedly sealed, it still emitted a faint divine beast aura that sent chills down his spine. "Once I gain a high enough cultivation and tame this black hole, I will surely become unbeatable under the Heavens!"

"But, if we're comparing that little black hole to any treasure within my sect, it's definitely trash."

"Huh?"

"In fact, I'm sure True Space Brigade has at least 10 of these black holes with insanely high intelligence and have all cultivated human forms as well. The female ones are a sight to behold too."

"True Space...Brigade?"

"Besides that, True Time Clocktower's recent findings about the formations of Heavenly Treasures might help you when you go treasure hunting next time."

"What? Heavenly Treasures? There's actually a grade higher than Realm grade treasures??"

"On top of that, True Water Temple also has an abundance of treasures formed from dead divine beasts. This little black hole of yours is too trash to even compare with real divine beast treasures."

"Eh? True Water Temple?"

"And if you want to compare that to real Heaven Defying items that can change one's fate....absolutely, undeniably, unquestionably...."

"Just spit it out already! How does this black hole compare to those fate changing treasures?!"

"Dog shit. It's so dog shit that even Heavenly realm cultivators wouldn't look at it." Elder Lv shrugged.

"But it's a sentient black hole—" [Blake]

"Utter dog shit." [Elder Lv]

"Formed from a divine beast's—"

"The shittiest of dog shits."

"Strongest under—"

"Smelliest and shittiest of all dog shits in the multiverse."

After going back and forth with Elder Lv for 10 minutes or so, Blake's initial enthusiasm towards his newfound treasure became sadness and unwillingness instead.

Upon seeing his saint's pained expression, Elder Lv couldn't help but lightly chuckle. Since he himself was once a weakling, he knew that treasures like the sentient black hole or his sect's defining treasure were indeed heaven defying. Alas, primordial treasures and heavenly arts would all still crumble before absolute strength.

In the end, Blake reluctantly released the black hole back into the wild with Elder Lv's advice in mind.

"Don't worry, child. My sect has plenty of treasures greater than that scrap metal. And since you're our Saint, I'll have a word with the other sect elders to give you the Heavenly Blades of Chaos. You might only be a Magic Emperor now, but once you refine these heavenly blades, your cultivation journey will be smooth sailing from that point on." Elder Lv smiled.

"One more question...what were the places you mentioned and what do they have to do with our True Chaos Sect?"

"Ah yes, about that...." Elder Lv took in a deep breath before continuing on. "As you know, the True Chaos Sect was created by your teacher, the first True God of the heavens as well as the progenitor of True God Domain, Chaos. What he left out was that the True Chaos Sect was created after he became a True God and was created as the main branch of an even larger and mightier sect..."

"What's the name of the sect then? To be mightier than my Teacher's sect...does it have several divine mountains with ancient divine beasts living on it? And a garden filled with immortal medicines?" Blake curiously asked. The fact that his teacher's sect was actually a branch sect of an even bigger sect astounded him since he knew how heaven defying his teacher was in his past life.

"Ah~, young master, I fear you may be underestimating the sect a tiny bit..." Elder Lv could only wryly smile before his saint's questions since he knew his saint was a country bumpkin.

Just having several divine mountains could already make his saint view the sect in reverence, then how about a whole divine mountain range that spans for billions of miles? Elder Lv thought that his saint's mind would have been virtually blown by the incredible sight.

And that was just one divine mountain range owned by his sect, he felt that his saint would probably just die from shock after witnessing the immortal sceneries of True Mountain Pavilion situated on the tallest peak of a trillion mile long divine mountain range.

And to top it all off, if his saint wished to own a ten billion mile long mountain range for himself, the sect would be able to give one without batting an eye. After all, this was just considered child's play for his sect.
