"Are you sure that this is the place?" the middle aged man asked Bhorg.
Bhorg nodded.
"Then what was that?"
"How would I know, boss?"
"What do you mean? You don't know?"
"I really don't know, boss! I didn't feel anything when I first came here!" Bhorg replied honestly.
The middle aged man was dumbfounded. When the Feather Beast duo flew towards Blake's house, they suddenly felt like mountains were slowly pushing them down. Sweat flooded their bodies as they felt a sense of crisis within the mountainous pressure. Had they not pulled out of there within 30 breaths, they fear their bodies might have been crushed by that insane pressure.
Infuriated, the middle aged man knocked his subordinate's head.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"That! Was for giving me an incomplete & half ass report! And this!" The middle aged man proceeded to knock Bhorg's head again. "Is for failing to tell me that there was another master in that boy's residence!"
"Oww!" Bhorg cried.
"Ow my ass! When were you so whimsical? Be grateful! A simple knock on your head is already merciful enough for me, your boss!"
Bhorg wanted to retort but no sound came out when he opened his mouth. Even though Bhorg did not want to, he had to admit since working for his boss, his life had been very easy & quiet.
All the jobs picked by his boss were simple & easy but surprisingly had high rewards, and because the disciples of Feather Beast Mountain were free to choose any jobs as long as they could finish them, Bhorg and his boss have been raking in the contribution points without breaking a sweat.
And now, although their job this time was to recruit hidden talents in the abandoned realms, they had been waiting for nearly 100 years and not one person caught their eyes...Until now. When Bhorg saw Blake suddenly appear in front of him, Bhorg knew his patience had finally borne fruit. But just to be safe and to avoid future disappointment, Bhorg felt like it was duty to test this young boy's talent and aptitude first before he reports this in to his boss.
He then went back to report his fortuitous discovery after discovering that Blake managed to survive his most underhanded and silent secret art, Silent Lightning. What he failed to do was to check and see whether this young boy had a master teaching him already. It was basic practice for all sects, large and small alike, and Bhorg...failed to do this.
Now that the two of them were here, it'd be rude of them to just leave since the master within Blake's house had sensed them but it would also be embarrassing for them to show up in front of this master without bringing any gifts.
'God! What a dilemma this is!' The middle age man thought to himself.
As the two Feather Beast Mountain duo continue to weigh the pros & cons of the current situation, Horu went ahead & gave Blake a call about how he found that the mysterious attacker from this morning appeared outside of his neighborhood. And he seems to have brought a helper.
"Should I deal with them now?" Horu asked.
"Nah, just go ask what's up...Since, you're a couple great realms higher than them, they wouldn't dare pull any tricks upon you." Blake replied. He was currently teaching martial arts to his juniors as per requested by the school last week. It was going pretty well. He got to pass down martial arts techniques to his classmates as well as beat up delinquents that looked down on him. It was fun overall.
"Understood. Bye!" Horu hung up.
. . . . . .
To not get noticed by the two outside, Horu tore a hole in space and entered the Void before he appeared behind the Feather Beast Duo like a ghost. Surprisingly, the duo continued their bickering without having the slightest clue that the enemy had already appeared behind them.
Not until,
"Hello there! What are you folks doing here?" Horu spoke up.
"Huh?! Wait wha–?" When the duo turned around and saw Horu smiling at them, they froze up.
"Aaah, you finally noticed me...Good, at least you know when to stop...Now, I'll ask both of you again, who are you and why have you come here??" As Horu spoke, he would release bits of his majestic pressure, slowly encasing the duo like a swamp.
"Uh...Ah.....Ah yes!" It took the duo a sec to snap back to reality & regain their composure. After they unfroze themselves, the duo cupped their fist and bowed respectfully towards Horu while introducing themselves.
"Greetings, Senior! My name is Arbolg and this is my subordinate, Bhorg. We both originated from Feather Beast Mountain located in a Mid grade Inner realm called Feather Beast Realm. We're here in this Low grade Outer realm because of a job." The middle age man revealed.
"Hm, alright. Then tell me, what does your job have anything to do with my friend?" Horu asked.
"Your friend? You mean the young boy? He's...He's your friend?!?" Albolg was startled. He did not expect that young boy to have an existence like Horu to be his friend. Not master nor guardian, but his friend...Who is that boy Albolg wondered.
"Of course he's my friend! I've known him for a very long time! Also, didn't your subordinate sneak attack my friend while I was asleep? Ha! Your subordinate's balls are quite big, aren't they??"
"Ah, that's...because we didn't know about Senior's existence...at that time, thinking the boy was a talented martial artist that had just awoken. The reason we came here was to take him --"
"Take?!" Horu questioned. The pressure around Albolg and Bhorg tightened.
"Invite him to join our Feather Beast Mountain," Albolg squeaked. Albolg did not continue talking anymore because he was doing his best to alleviate the pressure exerted by Horu while also finding ways to escape this man with Bhorg.
"Don't even think about escaping anymore. The fact that you had the gall to launch a sneak attack against my friend even only as a test of his abilities, and then you wanted to take him away to your shitty sect has annoyed and angered me to an incredible level. I am so pissed right now that even if I kill both of you, it will still not soothe the anger within my heart." Horu bellowed.
"This Senior...please forgive us! We were in the wrong! Had we known that there was Senior around, we would not have the balls to do something like this! Please forgive us!" The duo pleaded greatly, the heads nearly touching the floor.
"Forgive you? In your dreams." Horu smiled evilly.
