Floor 25, Malkai's Bathhouse
Blake gaped at the scene before him.
Standing at the entrance of floor 25, Blake was dumbfounded by the vast landscape before him. This floor was named Malkai's Bathhouse, which Blake expected would be an overly sized bath house. He did not expect that the bathhouse was an entire lake surrounded with mountainous vegetation instead. Opposite Blake stood an exceptionally tall mountain with raging streams of water falling from its peak. Besides that, there was an island in the middle of the lake with a bath house erected on it. At the sight of this, Blake's face couldn't help twitching.
'As expected of Malkai, that dipshit just had to build the bath house on an island in the middle of a lake. As far as I can see, I either have to swim my way there or fly there...Well the answer couldn't be any more obvious, I have to fly there!'
Taking a deep breath, Blake circulated the mana within his body into the two shoulder bones of his. Imagining a pair of wings was pretty easy stuff for Blake but to fly, he doesn't only need a pair of wings, but he also had to control his weight with [Gravity Magic] as well as keep an eye on his own mana consumption during his short distance flight journey.
Unlike Taoists who, after reaching a certain realm, would be able to fly freely in the sky, flying for Magic cultivators was slightly different. Magic cultivators indeed could also fly, that is if they ever could successfully form their mana core as well as learn the necessary spells for long duration flying. Of course, [Flight Magic] did indeed exist, in the home of Gods that was the Heavens. But that story was saved for another time.
After his wings had materialized, Blake used his [Gravity Magic] to lighten himself. Next he casted several self enhancement spells like [Mana Cost Reduction], [Luck Up], [Fall Damage Reduction], and [Blessing of the Sky]. Taking another deep breath, Blake calmed his heart as he directly did a leap of faith off the cliff. On the way down, his wings fluttered open and began to flap vigorously. Soon, Blake had stopped descending vertically and instead began ascending horizontally towards the bath house on the island in the middle of the lake!
As he flew towards the island, the light from the dungeon's crystals had slowly softened and it soon became night within the whole of floor 25. The soft light emitted from the crystals shone onto the vast lake like a candle flame floating on a pool of silver. Along with the lake breeze that blew occasionally, Blake felt like it was a pity that Horu couldn't enjoy this scenery with him.
7 minutes later...
Blake reached the island's shores just as soon as his Magical Energy supply had run completely dry. Even with Blake's Mana Core, his Mana usage for his Magical Energy conversion rate was too high so it couldn't keep up with his total Magical Energy usage of his aerial journey. His wings immediately dispersed as soon as his feet had touched the sand.
"Expert class Mental spell, [Mental Note] activated. Before flight, always remember to check the Magical Energy Conversion Rate. If it's too high or the conversion rate is too low, do not engage in flight activities. The best time to fly would be when I have achieved cultivating a Mana Core and have reached at least Magic King realm. End [Mental Note]." [Blake]
After landing on the island, Blake had activated another basic magic spell called [Spirit Eyes]. With the activation of [Spirit Eyes], it was like he was looking at the entire island from three views, the front, the side and from above. He began to survey the whole island for any signs of hostile lifeforms before doing another scan for the entrance of the bath house up ahead.
"I can see green slimes, kobolds, White Bears and Emerald Hornets. Eehh, it doesn't look too bad. The green slimes are monsters without intelligence. Besides their cloth destroying liquid, there's probably nothing to worry about. Same goes for the kobolds, they're fast with slightly higher intelligence but that's it...They are as tall as 10 year old bratty children, which isn't nerve wrecking either..." Chin in hand, Blake then furrowed his brows as he evaluated the next two beasts of this island.
"The first two I mentioned are the common residents of dungeons and within the world of Magic but why are there White Bears and Emerald Hornets here? I don't remember demon beasts being able to spawn in dungeons. The average strength of a teenage White Bear was the same as a human cultivator at the peak of the Foundation Establishment realm from an Inner realm.
An adult White Bear has the ability to clap a mid Core Formation realm cultivator with ease...And I saw three adults. Having White Bears here is already giving me a headache and yet there are still Emerald Hornets? WTF?! Emerald Hornets are giant green killer hornets capable of shooting their stingers at Mach 3 speed! Even if they weren't strong individually, they can wear out and kill Nascent Soul realm cultivators with ease!! And there were 3 nests of them! F***********ck!"
3 hours later...
"Alright, I've recovered my mana to a certain extent. I should get going now. But I do hope I can take a quick bath first before I head to the next floor.' As Blake made his way to the bath house, he had made sure he had looted everything first and hadn't missed anything. 'Man, I didn't think those White Bears and Emerald Hornets would work together after I had taken down their respective leaders. Although everything is dead, I'm still having an uneasy feeling about this.....Oh, I know! I should burn everything here!"
So before Blake left the White Bears' Forest, he casted a master level fire spell, [Corpse Explosion], triggering a chain reaction of explosions as bodies blew up one by one. The Emerald Hornet Nests had also burned to ash in the chain explosions.
After slashing his way through thick vegetation, Blake arrived at the entrance of Malkai's Bath House.
On the outside, Blake could tell that the bath house had both Roman and Japanese architecture implemented into it. Pushing open the wooden door, Blake was amazed to find a fully intact bath house here in this dungeon.
Standing from the entrance, he could already perceive the original layout of this bath house. There was a reception table, a locker room, a recreation room and an actual bathing area in this dungeon. Blake was utterly amazed and confused at the same time. 'If this was a bathhouse, then do I need to take a bath to enter the next floor?'
Just as he said that, a string of green words had suddenly appeared in front of him. [Bingo!]
