"Alright, I'm done recuperating." Blake slowly opened his eyes to see that Horu had wandered off. To make sure Horu hadn't wander off too far, he blinked his eyes once to activate [Spirit Eyes]. Since his eyes were wrapped in Martial Qi, his irises had turned red.
[Spirit Eyes] was a basic Spiritual Art where a person wrapped their eyes in Spiritual Energy, not only improving their eyesight, but also helps to cultivate the person's mind and strengthen their Spiritual Sense as well. Blake has already cultivated his [Spirit Eyes] in two different lifetimes, therefore his Spiritual Sense was exceptionally strong. Not only that, his Spiritual Sense had already reached Magic Hero realm and is able to contend with Magic Hero realm experts if needed.
Blake did a bit of eye exercises first before he released his Spiritual Sense as he had activated [Spirit Eyes] at 80% power to look for Horu. In hindsight, he could probably get up and go look for Horu himself but Blake was a tad bit lazy to get up at the moment. Furthermore, he didn't want to enter another weird maze just to get stuck there. No, the purpose of today's trip into Malkai's Tomb was to enter the Labyrinth of Fallen Rings next to him.
Following the footsteps Horu left behind, Blake deduced that the latter had wandered into the Maze of Grace. 'He just went in, the tracks he left are still moist. He'll probably come out on his own, right? I mean, he's a Void King, his sense of direction shouldn't be bad...'
1 hour later...
'Hi there little ant, where are you going with that piece of breadcrumb? Back to your nest? Alright, I'll see you around.'
2 hours later...
'Hmmm, this rock looks a little shiny...Let me use [Spirit Eyes] at 50% power and appraise it...Oh! It's actually a Mystic Rock! Let's see what I will get!" Blake hurled the Mystic Rock at a nearby wall and the rock shattered upon impact. After that, the shattered rock glowed for a moment before melting into an unknown liquid and combined together into a small pouch. Blake used a bit of Magical Energy to move the pouch to him. When Blake opened the pouch, he saw what he got: A packet of Curry Chicken flavored Crispy Noodle Snack!
'Oooh~ Crispy noodle snack? I indeed am a bit hungry but I don't really like the Curry Chicken flavored Crispy Noodle Snack. I'll give it to Horu later.' He proceeded to throw the Curry Chicken flavored Crispy Noodle Snack into his Storage Space with [Storage Magic].
Crispy noodle snack was a common drop item you could find in dungeons everywhere, but they would drop the original flavor only. Therefore, any other flavors besides the original are considered rare drop items. This Curry Chicken flavored Crispy Noodle Snack indeed was a rare drop item.
Furthermore, when Blake took out the crispy noodle snack from the pouch just now, he saw that the crispy noodle snack's name was in red italic words. He had indeed pulled an Ultra Super Rare crispy noodle snack! And it was from a Mystic Stone! Getting a rare item drop from the Mystic Stone was already nearly nonexistent but Blake had won against all odds and gained an Ultra Super Rare item that he finds useless!!!

Floor 20, Hell's Gate
"Take that beast! Eat my palm!" Blake shouted as he shock palmed the chest of a Cerberus. Millions of jolts of Magical Energy were sent through Blake's palm into the heart of the three-headed dog Cerberus and coursed through its entire body before it finally died.
'Man, that was a tougher fight than I'd imagined. Oh well, I'm happy as long as I get something good from this boss room.' Blake walked over to Cerberus's corpse and dug around his insides till he found the boss room's chest key. It was a black metal key with red demon runes engraved on the surface.
Blake then walked over to a black steel chest and stuck the key in. With a twist of the treasure key, the chest was unlocked. Upon lifting the lid open, Blake's initial expectations were instantly doused with ice cold water. When he opened the boss room chest, he acquired a [Gate Key], a round magic shield called [Cerberus Catch!], a long thick stick called [Cerberus's Shtick] and some more miscellaneous items like [Lower Health Vial], [Lower Mana Vial] and a single-edged dagger called [Dreyfus]. The excitement in Blake's eyes had dimmed a lot after the latter had thrown everything in the chest into his Storage Space using [Storage Magic].
After sorting out his loot for the past 5 floors, Blake heaved a sigh. "Those bosses took me some effort to beat, yet the treasures they had were garbage...I'll just move on to the next floor." Blake walked over to a red gate and stuck the [Gate Key] into the keyhole. With a turn of the key, Blake heard a click and the red gate swung open.
But before he could descend further, the string of words had appeared in front of him. "Caution: You're now entering Malkai's Tomb, the monsters here are 10x stronger than the ones you've beaten on previous floors. It is strongly advised that Malkai's Tomb is to be entered by multiple people with sufficient preparations. Turn back now if you do not meet any of these requirements."
Blake was indeed stunned when the message popped up but he didn't take this warning to heart seriously. In fact, he had been clearing the previous floors smoothly and hadn't encountered anything strong nor interesting yet. Therefore, Blake was itching for a challenge. He also needed a stronger environment to hone his combat skills as he had to also wait for Horu to return from the Maze of Grace too.
Floor 21, Malkai's Courtyard
'There seems to be a lot of mummies now.' Blake pondered as he continued to hack the bandaged undead without a care in the world.
10 minutes later...
"And...you're dead!" Blake sidestepped the Mummy God before he thrust his halberd into the Mummy God's chest. "Holy Fire!" At that moment, Blake twisted the halberd and unleashed a surge of Magical Energy in to the monster's heart. The Mummy God howled in pain as it tried to swing it's two long arms at Blake in retaliation.
But, Blake was faster. The moment he had casted Holy Fire, he had already given his halberd one last thrust before he jumped away from the Mummy God. Holy Fire was a spell that incorporated both the Holy element and Fire element. Both of these elements were the mummies' weakness.
After the mummy god had been burned for a certain period of time in Holy Fire, Blake looted the corpses then proceeded to the next floor.
