Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Find out where the children of that bastard are and kill them," said the man standing in the front, looking all over the medieval-style house when the three of them had made their way into the mansion.

"I'll take care of the rest," he added with a smirk on his stern face.

After receiving the order, the two men standing behind him began to take action, inspecting every ebony door on the first floor. Meanwhile, the boss did not want to be left behind to start walking on his feet which were wrapped in shoes with thick soles. Every step that met the black-and-white marble tiles beneath it sounded as eerie as the sound of a horror movie.

Sometimes the long footsteps stopped, as when his sharp eyes caught the family portrait of the owner of the house framed in shiny teak wood frames on each side.

"I won't let you take my treasure, Wyatt."

His lips kept on clicking as she walked step by step up the circular staircase with the burgundy carpet covering him. His hand traced the stair railing which did not escape getting a share to show how expensive it was.

"I didn't think you were really rich," the man muttered again for the umpteenth time. A small smile tugged at his lips as he stopped in front of a door he believed was the master bedroom of the man he was looking for.

A Beretta 9000* was readily pinned between his gloved hands. The dark atmosphere was the first to greet him when he managed to open the bedroom door. He walked slowly towards a husband and wife who were sleeping on a king-size bed in the middle of the room.

Without thinking, he placed the mouth of the gun he was holding on the forehead of the sleeping man. Feeling a cold feeling on his forehead, the man woke up from his sleep.

Silence. Only the sound of gasping breaths was heard there when the man realized that someone was pointing a gun right at his forehead.

"Hello, Justin Wyatt. Nice to meet you," the man said with a crooked smile.

Before the man named Justin could reply, a gunshot came from outside the room.

The man holding the gun smirked, "Surprised by what you heard?"

Justin swallowed his saliva, "Mark, what are you doing?!"

Mark, the man pointing the gun, smirked then replied playfully, "You think?"

Then the sound of shards was heard followed by another gunshot which sounded terrible to Justin's ears. There was nothing he could think of other than Mark who was now attacking his two children.

"You killed my kids," Justin hissed furiously.

"Not me," Mark raised his hand as if innocent, "But my men," he replied.

There was another sound of bullets whistling outside. And Mark felt satisfied when he saw his mortal enemy's face turn pale.

"Justin what-"

"Wow! Wow! Wow! The wifey has woken up from a sweet dream?" Mark flashed a smile at the person who had just woken up next to Justin. The little eyes widened when they realized what was going on in the house.

"What are you doing?!" Screamed Helen Wyatt, Justin's wife when she realized Mark was pointing a gun at her husband. Mark put his right index finger to his lips, making a silent gesture.

"Shh. Helen, your children are so handsome and beautiful, just like their parents. Isn't that right? I saw it in your family photo earlier. Your daughter is very beautiful, and so is your son who is very handsome. They will grow up as a beautiful and handsome teenager," Mark hung up on his sentence for a moment, then his lips curled into a smirk before continuing "If only they were still alive."

"No! You-"

"Yes, your children are dead. Want me to help catch up with them?"

"You're the devil," Justin growled.

Mark turned his gaze to Justin, "You too, Justin. You and your father are devils. We are all. We are all devils. So why try to be clean when you are already dirty?"

Mark pressed the tip of the gun against Justin's forehead.

"Is it because of the agreement?"

Mark nodded, "Yes."

"Didn't your father agree to the agreement?! You can't erase that black and white agreement, Mark!"

"Listen, Justin," Mark tapped the muzzle of his gun against Justin's forehead. "My father agreed to it under your father's damn threats. How crazy do you think we are to marry off our daughter to a disgusting werewolf like you? Never!"

"You bastard," Helen hissed.

Mark shrugged nonchalantly, "I don't like to beat around the bush," he hissed with a straight face, "Say goodbye, Justin Wyatt."

DOR!

Mark pulled the trigger effortlessly until the bullet went through the man's head. Mark let out a small snort as the splatter of the werewolf blood he had shot hit his hand.

"No!" Helen screamed when she saw her husband being shot right in front of her.

Mark let out a small chuckle before pointing his gun at Helen's chest. Then without waiting long, Mark pulled the trigger.

DOR!

Helen's body fell off the bed, with some bloodstains on the sheets and walls around.

Mark rubbed the hot muzzle of his gun against the coat he was wearing. His lips curved into a crooked smile as he looked at the two corpses in the room. Slowly but surely he walked out of Justin's room to meet his two men.

The sound of Gucci loafers tapping echoed as soon as Mark reached the first floor. Mark frowned when he didn't hear the typical laughter of his two men when they succeeded in carrying out their mission. Mark walked over to a door with a car sticker on it. His hand pressed the doorknob until it opened, but he did not find anyone in the room which was dominated by gray color.

Mark turned to the door next to him, a door with a sticker that read 'Rachel' in front of it. Mark walked over to the door and opened it.

Mark's round eyes widened, even more, when he saw the absurd scene in front of him.

There should be two children's bodies in there. The bodies of Justin's two children. Instead of three corpses with two of them being the corpses of his men.

Mark saw clearly that there were gunshot wounds to each of their hearts. Also, a vase that had been shattered into pieces beside the head of one of his men.

His hands clenched tightly and his jaw clenched. His eyes reddened with anger as he realized that something was amiss in this situation. His eyes narrowed sharply at the corpse of the little girl lying on the bed.

"Little bastard," he hissed.
