Three days later, Mark took his wife and Sophia to the airport.
Sophia, who just got out of the car, was about to take the suitcase in the trunk of the car, but Mark immediately stopped her because Sophia seemed to object to her own suitcase.
"My God, why is this dad's daughter so weak? Even lifting a suitcase is not strong," Mark said.
Sophia pouted and chose to hold her mother's hand tightly, leaving her dad to work alone.
After they finished unloading their suitcases, the three of them entered the airport area to check in their luggage. While Sophia was busy in checking the goods, Julia was quietly talking to her husband.
"Take good care of our child, dear," said Mark after a brief peck on Julia's lips.
"Of course. I'll take care of it, even if I have to risk my life."
"Make sure you're okay without me too."
"Hmm," Julia nodded, "You too. Find the sender of those letters soon."
Mark was about to reply to his wife's words before the youngest shouted in annoyance seeing her parents being affectionate in public and ignoring her.
"Mom! Come on, hurry up! Why are you hugging Daddy anyway? He murmured.
Mark chuckled and let go of Julia's arms. He stretched out his arms meaning Sophia would hug him too.
"Hug daddy one more time because I will miss you there very much," he said.
Sophia who was melted finally hit Mark with her arms. She buried her face under Mark's coat to find comfort in her dad's chest.
"See you next year in LA, Dad," whispered Sophia.
"See you next year, honey. Have a good time there for a month."
Sophia looked up and kissed her father's cheek for a long time. She smiled sweetly at the figure of her hero so far.
"I love you. I hope you and Ben have a good month without me and Mom."
Mark nodded, "Of course honey. You also have to take good care of yourself without Daddy and Ben. Got it?"
Sophia nodded, "Give my regards to Ben."
Mark muttered in response to his daughter's request, "Come on in. Your mother seems to be sulking because we are hugging in front of her."
Sophia let go of Mark's arms and turned to look at Julia who was frowning. Sophia chuckled and walked over to her mother, "Bye Daddy!" Sophia waved her hand at Mark which the man also waved back.
"Come on, dear!" Julia took her daughter's hand to immediately finish checking the goods by the airport staff.
As soon as they entered the first gate, Sophia and Julia immediately looked for a place to sit. Sophia yawned several times from sleepiness. This morning she was woken up at five by Julia to get ready for the early morning flight they took, and it was making her very sleepy now.
"Mom," Call Sophia.
"Hm? What's wrong dear?"
"I'm going to the toilet for a bit, okay? Want to wash my face."
"Need me with you?" Offer Julia. But Sophia quickly shook her head.
"No need. Am I a child to be accompanied?" Sophia sulked. Julia chuckled and stroked her daughter's mane.
"Okay. Come back quickly."
Sophia nodded. She left her phone with Julia and started walking away from her mother to find the toilet. From where she was sitting, Julia continued to observe where Sophia was going. Once she confirmed that Sophia had found the toilet, Julia breathed a sigh of relief and started checking their luggage once more
But just a few seconds after she left her focus on Sophia, Julia felt that something was bothering her. Her eyes returned to the toilet where Sophia was now. And Julia could clearly see a suspicious figure dressed in all black and wearing a hat and mask walking hurriedly into the same toilet. Julia was about to catch up with Sophia to bring her back before someone smothered her with a handkerchief that had been spiked with anesthetic.
Julia tried to struggle, but the anesthetic had already entered her nostrils. Seep to the lungs and brain.
Julia shed tears as soon as she realized that maybe Sophia's normal life would end this second.
'Sophia.. we're sorry.'

"There are a lot of people here."
The man snorted at the report from one of his men who spoke on the other end of the phone. His ears were focused on the phone, but his sharp eyes that were covered in sunglasses kept his focus on the movement of his moving target.
The lips behind the black mask smirked as he realized that his plan was much easier with the movement of his target who was currently in the toilet.
"Just go with the original plan. It's easier than I thought," After saying that, he disconnected the phone from his men.
Once making sure that the situation was right, his long footsteps walked straight towards a toilet that had not escaped his eyes. There was a thin woman who had just come out of the toilet, before he went in and checked what was in there. His lips curled into a smirk when he knew no one was there, as if circumstances were supporting his action in carrying out the plan.
There was one room where the door was tightly closed. And he was pretty sure the target was in the room. Not long after, the door to the cubicle that was originally closed opened immediately and a figure emerged that he had been observing for a long time.
His hands reached behind his back to lock the toilet door. The 'click' sound generated by the door lock made the movement of the target who was washing her hands stop. The face that was originally looking down is now looking up, looking at him through the reflection of the mirror in front of the sink.
"Excuse me, Sir. Looks like you have the wrong toilet. This is the women's restroom," the woman said before shaking her head slowly and washing her hands again.
But the man didn't care. He just walked closer to the woman. Sophia who felt uncomfortable was about to walk away from the toilet, but the man quickly grabbed her hand and threw a punch hard enough to make Sophia fall with her head hitting the wall, and then collapsed on the toilet floor.
The man crouched right beside the body that lay unconscious with wounds on the corners of her lips and head. His thumb brushed the corner of Sophia's bloody lips. The dark brown eyes behind the sunglasses flashed red as he felt the sweet scent of blood from her.
"Sophia my dear..let's go with your groom from now on."
He immediately carried Sophia's unconscious body to get out of the toilet.
His lips curled into a small smile as he saw that one of his men had left in another car to take Julia away. But he ignored that, his feet still walked straight towards a luxury sports car parked there.
"Your little bastard is back, Mark."
