Although the power of resistance from humans was insignificant to the Kindred, resistance was instinct when facing the threat of death. Dylan seemed to be seeking death only.
"I know that the Kindred's prophecy requires me to sacrifice myself to that bullshit Moonstone, but why should I do as you wish? Besides, being sacrificed alive is so painful. If I'll die no matter what, it's better to die early."
