"Aren't you hot?" I said in surprise when I saw Liam standing in the sun in black clothes but not sweating at all.
"I'm fine. Just a bit sick." Liam reached out his hand to block the blinding sunlight. He had a ruby ring sparkling on his finger.
I stood on my tiptoes and placed my hand on his forehead. It was cold and didn't feel hot at all. It probably wasn't a heatstroke.
"Then, let's go back quickly!"
"Alright."
I was a little anxious on the way back. Although Liam was no different from usual, his non-stop steps made it seem like he was really uncomfortable. I wanted to take him to the hospital for a checkup but he refused.
Once again, the silence made it impossible for me to say anything about leaving. Just like that, I followed Liam to the hotel where he lived.
"You should get some rest. I'll go get you a cold towel." Helping Liam to the couch, I looked around to see where the bathroom was.
